The Hottest Reservations in Town!

Celeb enclave Nobu is serving up what any weary firefighter wants while fighting a massive wildfire -- a boatload of sushi!
Firefighters Nobu
Reps for Nobu tell TMZ that starting this afternoon, they will start serving their tasty fare to firefighters serving on the Malibu fire line. For those hotshots who've been too busy saving homes to sample Nobu's delectable delights, TMZ recommends the Kobe Beef, the Toro Roso, Rock Shrimp Tempura and the Yellowtail Tartar with caviar. Nobu, doing their part.

And in case you're wondering, Nobu has been closed since Sunday, but they have had power. And yes, the refrigerator works.

In another generous Malibu move -- billionaire showbiz mogul and Malibu resident David Geffen has opened up his recently renovated Malibu Beach Inn to both evacuees and firefighters -- free of charge.

In case you'd like to help those affected by the fire -- and don't have a sushi restaurant -- please donate to the Red Cross.

32. To all that think firefighters wouldn't want sushi... Hahahaha!!! Sushi IS real food here. They are grateful for a few minutes to eat, and a nap. Stay safe :)

Thank God for our boys out there fighting the fire! I live in Southern California, and the fire is pretty nerve wracking. These guys deserve some good sushi! :)

36. Is this the same David Geffen who is denying taxpaying citizens access to what he thinks is his private beach? Since he feels the beach is private let him hire his own firefighters to protect it!!!! And which fire evacuees exactly get to stay at the Malibu Inn?? The rich one's from Malibu or will he open his inn to working class people from Running Springs, Santa Clarita, & Rancho Bernardo?

Posted at 2:18AM on Oct 24th 2007 by David Geffen is a phony!

What a difference. I'm impressed the way the people directly effected are handling this, The people are helping one another and the system seems to be working like it should. Makes it just a bit easier for those fire fighters not to have to deal with mayhem plus a fire. I'm sure most of those firefighters wish the brush and dead trees would have been cleared out years ago, But maybe it takes a superfire for some to see that. Most of those living in Malibu wanted the laws in place preventing the Forestry Dept from clearing, Ironic.

THAT'S your response? TMZ, you are so out of line! This is nothing to be flip about. NOTHING! Harvey Levin is an ass-kissing brown-noser, which we all know. But to make light of the worst wildfires this region has ever seen? You are despicable!!

43. 23. I support the firefighters, they truly are heroes, but why on earth would anyone donate to the Red Cross for victims in Malibu? Seriously. There are people across the country who need aid far more than those people who all have fire insurance and are all quite wealthy.

Hey Guys,

I work for the Red Cross in Texas and Just wanted to let you know that we do help families who have lost their homes do to natural disasters. in response to sparkle keep in mind that even if you have insurance it could be days or even weeks before you get your first check from your insurance company. 45. It's nice to see people helping in any way they can. It would be nice to see a national out pouring of help and relief, maybe a telethon to help raise money for those who lost everything - like the people of Lousianna. Oh yeah - mostly white, rich people. Who needs to help them? Afterall, they actually worked for all they lost - they can do it again.
Wonder where Bradjolina is today?
