44. Whether a film is good, bad, or indifferent, I don’t know of any director, producer, or fellow cast member that would say, “so and so is doing a terrible job in this film. We’re getting poor reviews, etc. etc. etc.” That doesn’t exactly promote a film, and judging from what happened at the awards show, they (and the promo posters here) have a lot of work to do.

One of the reasons the producer/director put Hilton in makeup to be unrecognizable is so that “people can see that she can act and sing and not recognize her as Hilton.” What they didn’t say is that by not doing so, 1) she would have been laughed at for playing a parody of herself, 2) people would have left the theatre, or 3) not show up at all. The producers were very savvy in disguising her in the film. The booing at the Spike Awards spoke volumes. (Ouch!)

Start screaming loser because she put herself in the public eye and therefore she is subject to scrutiny. The reason people keep calling her out about the charities, is because of her statements of Larry King that she was going to start that halfway house for women just released from jail and such. So far, nothing. If she doesn't want to be put to task, then she should not have said she was going to do it. As far as all the attention, she not only loves it, she begs for it. How do you think the paps always know where she is. Even a two year old can figure that one out. Perhaps you should grow up. The whining is getting old. No one likes her because she is a phoney. Deal.
