"The Hills" Are a Lie

Heidi Montag's breasts (and relationship and singing career and apartment and office job) aren't the only fake things on "The Hills"! The whole "reality" show is too. Shocker!

Cameras snapped the gruesome twosome of Heidi and Spencer filming scenes of the fauxality show at LAX (the airport, not the club) on October 12. At first, all appears legit as Spencer is seen dropping off Heidi, appropriately enough, at the curb. But minutes (and a costume change) later, the douchebag duo shoot another scene, making it look like Heidi has just returned from visiting her folks in Colorado. Faster than the Concorde!

It's official: everything about Heidi and Spencer is a sham! Team Elodie.

A rep for MTV says "This was a pickup shot for continuity that in no way affected the storyline."

none of them are sexy or pretty either theres no reason to watch the show.
Ordairy poles lifes are more intresting than there plasic lifes.

65. DUHHHHH????? The producer used to be the head write and producer for "General Hospital" and other daytime soaps. Why no one realized they were watching a Wendy Riche "reality" soap is beyond me.

71. the show is totally staged. i was reading on another site (i think the superficial.com or perez, i can't remember) and it showed Lauren going out on a date and then coming back to her apartment after the supposed date wearing different nail polish and having curlier hair. Who goes out on a Friday night with one color polish and hairstyle and then gets home looking differently. I wouldn't be surprised if every scene is staged and if they tell Heidi where Lauren is hanging out. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if their whole fight is fake and they are actually friends. What makes it worse is that its one of the most popular shows. MTV should be ashamed and is really going downhill.

72. Of course the show is not 100% real. But it's still good tv and hopefully it will continue to be.
On another note: I heard there was going to be another Ariva party. Does anyone know where? The last party was off the hook and had Kyane West, Janet Jackson and Miranda Kerr. Here's a link to it.

73. I was just talking with my friend the other day about how lame it is to actually watch someone else's life .... even though we do it all the time! Of course they're going to do a lot of major editing ... they have to shrink - what - 2 or 3 weeks of filming into 30 mins. You're not going to see everything and many "reality" stars have admitted that the producers can crop things and add things to make one particular person look how they want them to .. like a goody girl or like a b*tch. They have also admitted that directors have told them what to say on more than one occasion and if they "miss something" they have the "actors" sit around and talk about it "naturally." So this doesn't surprise me.


But why does it say her relationship is fake?
Can someone fill me in?
