Britney and K-Fed Got Along Swell

Britney, K-FedSources tell TMZ there's good news in Britney Spears' world!!! Seriously.

We're told yesterday's co-parenting meeting with K-Fed went "amazingly well." Brit and Kevin met for two hours with Al Gibbs, the counselor, at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Of course, that's where divorced parents learn how to handle their kids -- and besides, Brit was able to gas up her car courtesy of the valet for $4.50 a gallon.

And get this -- one connected source says one of the reasons it went so well is because Britney liked being around K-Fed!

And there's more. For the last week, we're told Britney has been responsive with her lawyers and all-in-all in a better state of mind.

18. I'm sorry this may sound small of me but if a my ex has trying to get custody of my babies I would not "enjoy" his company. I mean they can get alone that's good but there would be no damn joy I tell ya, lol.

Filing for divorce was Britney's way of trying to control him. When she asked him in divorce court if it was really what he wanted and he said, "yes", then she got pissed and started acting like an out-of-control brat.

She still wants him, but he seems to have outgrown her and tired of her antics. I DO realize that saying K-Fed has outgrown her sounds odd, but honestly, look how childish and spoiled she is acting. At least K-Fed isn't running around flashing the children and taking cheap photo ops.

25. Here's my take. She needs him because now she sees that before he was the crazy one and now attention has shifted and she is the crazy one. She is just longing for old times, you know when Kevin took all the crap from the media. She can't raise kids by herself (obvious).
She doesnt listen to any advice and she needs to move to another country and let kevin and his staff of servants and britmama raise those kids. By the way this is all a good lesson for Jamie Lynn Spears who is still being raised by britmama.

the only reason kevin isn't acting up right now is because he needs her money, and his PR firm is telling him exactly what to do. AND PEOPLE ARE FALLING FOR IT!

How easily we forget what a leeching slimeball he was as a husband.

He broke her heart, squashed her self esteem, squandered her money and left her holding two babies to have a nervous breakdown.

Kendra...you sound like a little kid...of course it is best for all if divorced parents are more than civil with each other, the best relationship would be to be friends....and, perhaps the most ignorant of your comment...Kevin did not try to take them away, he was successful...but, Unfitney did her part...she acted completely inappropriately in the company of her children...using drugs and excessive alcohol in front of them, parading around nude in front of them in the presence of strange men, driving illegally....driving with the oldest in her lap....

29. Anybody who can perform at the elite level she did for so long is certainly bright enough to ride the learning curve to a better place. I tell ya, she was simply overprotected and had everything done for her in adolescence while everyone else was learning what she's having to learn now in her twenties. She needs to do stuff for herself, and figure out how to navigate the world without a manager, handler, p.r., agent, limo driver, accountant, etc, etc, etc. If you had all those sycophants around you from 8 or 9 yrs. to 26 years old, how much would you know how to do for yourself now? Exactly. It will take some time, but she will get there.
Overall, Kevin is very kind, and patient as hell, and will not hurt her on her way in this process. He's shown his emotional maturity over and over again, by example, and on many impromptu videos. He was so good with her. If he DID cheat, he was totally fed up. You can't keep giving into a vacuum.
