TMZ has learned Daniel Dae Kim, who stars as Jin-Soo Kwon on "Lost," was popped by Honolulu PD early Thursday morning on suspicion of drunken driving. Jin and juice!

The Honolulu Advertiser reports Kim was arrested around 3:00 AM, wearing a polo shirt and khaki shorts. Gary Collins, is that you?! Kim was released about two hours later, seen in video from KHON2TV trying to hide his face as he left. Details of the arrest were not immediately available.

Kim is the fourth member of the cast of "Lost" to be arrested. Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros were arrested for DUI in December 2005, when police spotted their vehicles weaving along a local road. Both pleaded guilty, and were lost from the show soon after. In September of 2006, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was arrested and accused of disobeying a police officer and driving without a license. Those charges were later dropped -- and then he was dropped from the show as his character was killed off by a crazy smoke monster.

53. It's going a bit far to refer to the logical consequences of illegal behavior as a curse.

Come on, TMZ. You seem to be saying that these actors are the unwitting victims of bad juju when all that's really happening is they're being indulgent and irresponsible.

54. ALOT OF ACTORS SUFFER FROM ALCOHOLISM. Acting or the entertainment business is a nerve racking job with all eyes on you. Alcohol, for some reason, makes it easier for certain people to do this job. No matter how brave or intelligent you are, alcohol does something to you to take away the worries and that's why so many actors/announcers/musicians/athletes/entertainers do this stuff like alcohol or drugs. It also brings out this personality that's not boring, but entertaining or friendly to audience or people watching you. When you're in the spotlight, you want to show off in some way and you want to be brave enough to carry yourself in a certain way, without a care in the world. I know alot of people who drink at work or drink and drive and never get caught. I think that being a celebrity puts you in the spotlight wherever you are and you get caught in public more easily. Entertainers forget that they have a public job, just like a politician, and therefore need to maintain a good reputation. I've had friends who have been to alcoholocs anonymous meetings and they say they see celebrities all the time and alot of them stand around smoking cigarettes because they need something, besides alcohol and drugs, to calm their nerves. Alcoholism brings out this outgoing personality which a typically normal or shy or conservative person wouldn't have and they do this to make themselves stand out or make themselves brave enough to do this job. The entertainment business is a horrifying job, if you think about it, and it's tough on you. You are worried daily about whether or not you will make it in this business and worried about WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK ABOUT YOU. Since some people have become famous, they have become nervous to go out in public or nervous about what to say and do. Alcohol or drugs takes away all that nervousness and fear. The entertainment industry does not always provide a stable job. You can be certified or have a degree in something useful and something that pays your living expenses for the rest of a lifetime, and not worry if you will never have a job again. But people in the entertainment industry have to maintain a mental perspective that keeps them going in a very diverse job. It's hard for some to maintain that perspective and they fall off the wagon. It's also an insecurity issue. You always have to worry about the way you look, the way you speak and the way you present yourself. Anywhere you go, people are coming up to you and all you want to do is go about your personal business or enjoy life. Most people think if you're rich & famous, you should be stuck in your mansion and just have others do things for you or watch your behavior. My only advise to these entertainers is that they should remember that they basically have a public job and that they must maintain their reputation. I grew up in a poor family that was not famous, and even I was taught how to maintain my dignity and reputation for not only my own sake, but for the sake of my family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and future children who may ask "What did mommy and daddy do that was so embarassingly bad and not commendable?" Even if you are not famous, you are a role model to someone out there.
