An Atlanta woman went on camera with TMZ TV and said David Copperfield made a move on her during his Vegas show, just days before the FBI raided his Vegas warehouse and seized digital camera equipment and a computer hard drive.
The woman -- Amanda from Atlanta -- says Copperfield's people singled her out before the show and "marked" her for David to invite her onstage during the performance. Afterward, Amanda, who was wearing an extremely short dress, says David wanted to meet her backstage, where she was escorted by one of his assistants.
As TMZ first reported, sources say Copperfield has used his show to "pick up women," targeting them in the audience, bringing them backstage after the show, taking their pictures with a digital camera, and then interviewing them on the things they liked. In particular, we're told the women were asked if they liked the Bahamas -- Copperfield owns a series of islands there.
The investigation was triggered by a Seattle woman who claims Copperfield sexually assaulted her in the Bahamas. Copperfield denies any wrongdoing.
Other women have written on the TMZ message board, recounting experiences where Copperfield allegedly hit on them during his shows.

62. I attended a show about 2 years ago. I was picked to go up on stage and be in a magic trick.. Nothing sexual happened.There were many girls that got taken behind stage, we got to meet and talk with David. Everyone got there picture taken with him and information asked. We were told that it was for assitance help next time they were in town. David was very polite and just being friendly with everyone. The show was great and everyone had a good time. I have watched David since I was little and it was nice to meet him.
66. This guy is a total Creep. I could care less if in a court of law he is found guilty or not, thats for a Jury to decide based on the Facts.
But the facts of his "shtick" on bumping and dumping selected female audience members qualifies him for CAD of the year award.
When this story gets more air time, his name will be mud with middle america---the ones that go to his shows.

69. Looks like Davids people are all over this board with the suddenly negative commentary. Notice not a one of them appeared on the previous two stories here. Funny how that works huh? All those negative messages 1 minute apart, basically saying the same thing about the Woman.

70. All I have to say is that David Copperfield is so gorgeous he can probably get any woman he wants. Why would he have to assult someone? These women probably are looking for some kind of financial settlement to keep quiet.
