D.A. Will Not Charge Orlando Bloom

TMZ has learned that the L.A. County District Attorney will not file charges against actor Orlando Bloom over the accident he was involved in on October 12 that injured his two passengers.

In the D.A.'s Charge Evaluation Worksheet, the D.A. states that they are declining to prosecute the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star because of "insufficient evidence."

According to the document, Bloom "was being pursued by 4 vehicles containing paparazzi and one vehicle containing fans." Bloom "took evasive action resulting in a collision."

16. Hmm....Blooms car accident happens on a public street, he leaves a helpless injured bleeding victim, after drinking in a club, and isn't charged with any crime? Britney Spears bumps a parked car in a parking lot and IS charged with hit and run................some justice system we have.

17.
I didn't think they would press charges and they should not have in this case.
Maybe he should choose less media frenzy places to hang in the future though.
His get away driving skills suck. Move over lady let me drive! Crash!

18. I told you so. There just wasn't evidence to support a hit and run charge, no matter how much TMZ wanted a big story.

19. Poor TMZ. When will they arrest the 4 drivers of the vehicles that caused the accident?

21. #20 chris -

I will take that bet and be $1000 richer. Remember Brandy? She is black and here is her accident stats:
*******************************************************************************
Brandy's Range Rover rear-ended a car, triggering a multi-car accident, which resulted in the death of a 38-year-old woman. One source says there was a "conflict" in the City Attorney's office over whether Brandy should be prosecuted at all. The charge on the table, we're told, is misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.

******************************************************************************

oh, and by the way.... you cant be more than 100% of anything and unless you are in the 7th grade, 1,000,000% makes you sound like a moron.

22. This concave chested 80 pound mockery of a man walkede away from bleeding and injured passengers, didn't have to take a breathalyzer, and walks away like he did nothing wrong?

Between all of the celebrity "justice" going on and the way we turn a blind eye to how the illega Mexicans are ruining our state, California is becoming the Britney Spears of states....a wicked mess in denial of how bad things are, that is going to crash and burn.

24. Idiots! No. 6 Sorry after the OJ deal, you never get to say "cuz he's white" in LA again. You rock No. 11 guess no one has ever heard of probable cause. The cops, if they were even called to the scene can not give just anyone a sobriety test. There has to be SOME evidence that they have been drinking. Walking 60 feet away isn't leaving the scene and isn't it amazing that the paparazzi are still pursuing him instead of paying any attention to some one in the car with a broken neck, talk about no respect

25. I'm glad he got off. If he did wrong he would have been punished for it. Seems like a lot of jealous people out there with these comments.

26. Yeah Sue, we ARE jealous ...jealous that if we acted like a 90 pound pu$$y by abandoning bleeding victims in our car that WE would be in jail.

27. #24 - EXCELLENT point about OJ!! All I could think of off the top of my head was Brandy, but OJ is a perfect example. The thing is - I am white and am the LEAST racist person you will meet and I get so ticked when the race card gets thrown out there where it clearly doesnt belong. It just makes that person sound like an idiot and gives those who ARE racist something to say "see? thats what Im talking about!" Just makes it so much worse.

You rock, too!!

29. Rational thinking prevails:) These camera stalkers are going to get somebody killed (if not already) one day:( It must be hell knowing yur under the microscope of cameras just waiting for you to slip up and scratch yur nose or anything else they can repackage as a pick or whatever and then plaster it across the web? Thank you...

TMZ cannot ruin someone's life!
Some of these post's are almost embarrassing the power they give themselves and TMZ lol
it's dramatic but not reality. Do you really think Orlando's life as an actor hangs in the balance because of a web site ?
Get a grip, His own choices are responsonsible! And I highly doubt he make's them with TMZ in mind.
