T.I. Makes Bail!

A federal judge released rapper T.I. on $3 million bail Friday -- $2 million in cash bond and $1 million in property. T.I. must remain under house arrest until his trial on weapons charges.

U.S. Attorney's Office spokesman Patrick Crosby has informed TMZ that a private monitoring company will reside at T.I.'s home, and he will be subject to drug, alcohol and weapons searches at their discretion. The ATF will also be allowed to search the residence. Magistrate Judge Alan Baverman ordered the rapper be monitored 24 hours a day by a private monitoring service that T.I. must pay for.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, must stay in his home except for medical appointments and court appearances. He also may not own any guns and cannot have contact with any witnesses or informants in the case.

T.I. was arrested on October 13 on federal gun charges. No new court date has been set.

You know WHO!:  1572 days ago

Is he at home, or rather is he at residential prison. Who cares if he takes a drink. What does drinking alcohol have to do with trying to buy some guns. Maybe I just don't know, but don't most people have guns?

Blacks make up 12% of the population, but commit 49% of the crimes in the usa.

Crime Rates
• Blacks are seven times more likely than people of other races to commit murder, and eight times more likely to commit robbery.
• When blacks commit crimes of violence, they are nearly three times more likely than non-blacks to use a gun, and more than twice as likely to use a knife.

Why is anyone still listening to rap "music" at all? If it is not promoting various forms of violence; half-witted thugs who do not have the presence of mind to PULL UP THEIR PANTS are going on and on and on about how great they are. Also, this is NOT about colour! Black Americans pioneered Jazz, Soul, Gospel, Blues, and R & B yet this mindless, unmusical hip-hop nonsense drains young black boys & girls of their money and ability to move beyond the "gangta" myth. BTW: gangter is spelled with an "er" not an "a." Rap is a cancer distroying a once proud and creative culture. And a few cultural vampires are getting rich while the inner cities crumble. Wake up America!

You people don't seem to understand the charges or the seriousness of what's happening here. It's not illegal to own or purchase a gun. It IS illegal, whether you're a convicted felon and TI is one, to possess machine guns and silencers. Forget about the fact that they caught him red handed purchasing the new machine guns through his assistant, whom he gave access to his bank account and met in a parking lot to get the new guns; he had an entire existing arsenal of machine guns at his house - 6 of them in his closet, loaded. No setup. No "he's black and getting screwed by whitey." All their conversations were recorded by the Feds. These are extraordinarily serious, serious, serious charges and $3 million bail and the conditions of his house arrest means that his own attorneys understand that he's in deep, deep ****. I would bet any amount of money that he'll do federal time. Do your research, people, read the charges, get the facts, then come back and post.

“It’s a set-up????” boy I’ve heard that excuse around here A LOT lately.

But then again, I'm pretty sure the fed's are used to hearing that #1 and only phrase by now.
