17. I have a friend who was called on stage at a Copperfield show and she also used the word "creepy" to describe him. She felt she had no choice but to go onstage. She was allowed to bring her husband back state, however.

20. Who cares what Copperfield's attorney says--The FBI and the Grand Jury there in Washington must have a lot of evidence that we are unaware of. There are too many young women coming forward with their testimony of his 'behavior patterns' of screening and zoning in on young strange women during his performances. Maybe the rape allegations may or may not be true---but doesn't Copperfield have any close women friends-- and why does he have to seek young attractive women out like a predator???

21. It is true that rock starts and stars of any kind have been doing for this years, every single one of them. James Brown, Elvis,the rolling stones, and all of them. Any one of those girls could have cried rape but didn't. I find it hard but not impossible to believe a man with his money and sorta "fame" would risk it all to rape someone. We never heard of these stories before with other stars. Only kids come out of the woodwork years later claiming they are the love child of so and so.

23. This guy is a ego maniac, making up for his childhood where he was never able to get a label. I realize its a show. But, playing into his ego mania, shoulder pads, hair extensions and only being able to shoot one side when interviewed. To top this off, I have hated this guy since the mid 90's. I had heard that he had this tendency to try to get the hot girls in his show (this was back in about 1996). I attended a show with my wife at the FOX theatre. We were in row 8, center stage...I know exactly what all these folks are talking about. My wife was a hot blond, blue eyed woman. Anyway, this in not me trying to get attention..I swear to God, on all that I have, he just stared and stared and it was over the top. There was this real freaky twinkle. He also was staring at a girl (blond blue eyed) about 2 rows ahead. My wife had dressed up to the nines b/c we had heard that he always picked a hot lady to come on stage. I didn't know anything about the other stuff he was up too. But his stare was so creepy. We both noticed and it. We eneded up giving him smirks back, kind of a little insult back like, get lost freak. Again, it wasn't a look that seemed harmless, it seemed devious. He ended picking the lady 2 rows up. Ever since that show, I have just been creeped out by David Cooperfiled. When I saw this stuff come out, it was no surprise to me. He likes blonds with blue eyes..that's his thing.

So...just because he likes to pick up women doesn't make him a rapist. Every popular rock band in music for the last 40 years has used similar tactics to pick-up women, having their roadies and aids pick attractive women for them...and even fetch women that the members of the band were specifically interested in. Hell, I even know of female celebrities that have done the same thing to pick-up both women and men. But that doesn't make you a rapist, that makes you a human being with sexual urges...period.

Unless...they can prove that David Copperfield did not have consentual sex with the alleged victim, there is no case.

What happened to the media claiming that Copperfield was...and is gay??? And what happened to the 2 million dollars that the FBI seized...that now doesn't exist, according to the FBI, and never existed??? But the press certainly told us all that these stories were true, didn't they???


Finally, Copperfield works in Vegas and is rich, powerful and famous...why would he need to rape a woman when he can get women without force...and he can certainly buy as many prostitutes and porn stars in Vegas that he wants??? Women throw themselves at rich, powerful and famous mean all of the time, constantly...a man in Copperfield's position need not ask!!! And with women like Lindsey Lohan, Carmen Elektra and Paris Hilton, who seem to be available to most any eligible man...famous or not...it just seems incredible to me that David Copperfield would need to rape anybody. All they have on him so far...is that he isn't gay... and oh, that he is a guy who likes the ladies...and that is not crime!!!

The authorities keep leaking details of the allegations...hoping that fame seekers will pop-up and match their stories with the alleged victim--and of course, based on the news headlines...I could easily use the published reports to claim that David Copperfied was hitting on me too...and I'm a guy. Why stop there, I could claim that he raped me, but it wouldn't make it true!!! And since when is getting hit on illegal anyway??? Whether you are married or not...like Copperfield is going to know that...and even if he did, who cares...it's not illegal???!!! If a married woman wants to say yes or no...it's all up to her. Let's stop treating grown ass women like 6 year old children who can't think for themselves!!!

Flirting with someone can look either one of two ways--To the interested party, it's welcomed foreplay. To somebody who isn't turned on-- it's seen as weird and harassing. Well if men didn't harass women, and vice visa...nobody would ever get laid. And yes...if you are reading this, your dad sexually harassed your mom, or your mom sexually harassed your dad...that's the reason you know exist. Cause sometimes even unwanted flirtations can, and do often become more than welcomed--no rape necessary...and no crimes commited.

And you know they, the feds, don't have a case when they have to bring in a Grand Jury, cause if the feds had something, they would have already arrested Copperfiled and charged him outright...and asked a prosecutor to file charges: To hell with a Grand Jury!!! Every legal expert in the world knows that simply fact, including Harvey Levin!!!

Back when Dave was younger and much 'hotter', and apparently a bit more popular, isn't it funny how none of these women said a single word about his supposed..'creepiness'? Now, that's he's not so cool anymore, suddenly he's a 'perv' and 'creeping' women out. Geez, nearly every other post on here is someone he 'hit' on....or a friend of a friend of a.......this seems alot like those women who get invited to sports stars hotel rooms in the middle of the night.....'oh, my, I thought he was just going to give me an autograph at 3 in the morning'....give me a break, already, girls.

26. I've seen him twice. Once my HUSBAND got called up onstage. We got to meet him after the show. He was quiet, signed a few autographs & that's it. We also saw him in a hotel in Vegas. He's always ON with the weird eyes looking around. I think it's just part of his act. If you're a woman & you agree to go backstage alone, I think you should have some kind of idea about what he's interested in.......

Who knows what the truth is but when details are released out into the world lots of "victims" will pop out of the woodwork! Maybe these are the ones who did not get their 15 minutes? Of course the stories will match - they have the script now from the news media!

Going out of the country to spend a weekend on a private island with someone you don't know is a bit creepy if you ask me. I mean, would she have done this if his name was Sam Milligan a man from Podunk, Texas?

Would you go out of the country to a private island to spend a weekend with someone you did not know? I sure the hell wouldn't, not even when I was young and carefree!

Rape isn't about sex, yes rock stars, magicians and other celeberties could buy sex or have it given freely BUT rape is about power it is about forcing someone to do something they don't want to do it's about proving you are bigger, stronger and more powerful then your victim. I don't have a clue if he is guilty of what he is accused of but never ever confuse rape with consenual sex. They are two very different acts
