The L.A. City Attorney has charged actor and TV host Gary Collins with misdemeanor driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol level above .08.
Collins was busted last week while driving in an L.A. suburb. As we first reported, Collins smashed his Ford Explorer into another car that police say had cut Collins off. The Explorer then smashed into two cars parked on the street. We're told the 89-year-old driver of the second car is still recovering in the hospital.
If convicted, the former host of "Miss America" could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. He'll be arraigned November 16.
33. What a drunken slob... If it had been me with no arrest record I would not probably have been given bail and would never see the light of day for at least a year. It will be interesting to see how this all pans out and if he ever serves time. dss
It was a shocker, to me! It shows that even the most normal people make big mistakes. Put it in the past, and learn this hard lesson: Alcohol is stronger than you are! You will do as it bids, when you take in alcohol, or any other destructive spirit inside your body! Those spirits take over your body, after you keep inviting them to come inside.

37. I used to watch him on the home show every night, and loved him and the show and always wondered what happened to him. So sad to see this bit of information, is he a crook or is the informercial people the crooks wouldn't he just be the spokesman?
Gary has a new infomercial where he gets ripped with Cavemen & Cavepeople live to get high - so have plenty of Geico Insurance to mitigate their liberal behavior.
40. What's up with all these celebs with DUI and gettin into car accidents? If you want to drink, then drive, if you want drive then don't drink. It is a very simple rule to follow. If you want to do both, get a driver you got the money to do it.

I rarely make comments on this site. And now I will stop. As now I am chased off by this other poster, who has three times attacked me here. But I am going to contact TMZ regarding these attacks. I was simply stating an opinion. Where one person feels the need to attack another on here.....for our own stated opinions is simply terrible. Else where on the web those types of attacks are removed.
