Nicolas Cage was spotted outside TMZ's headquarters on Friday, but he wasn't all that excited about being in such proximity -- attacking our photog after he approached!
After being asked about his creepy naked stalker, Cage lost it. After saying, "I'm a nice guy, this guy's invading my privacy," Nic grabbed the photographer's camera, twisted his arm, then grabbed the tape, ripped it and threw it in the trash! Nice guy indeed!
He was having a bad hair day, but c'mon!

HA HA HA I JUST CANT QUIT LAUGHING....YA'LL KEEP THESE CAMERAS UP THE BROWN HOLES THEN WONDER Y THEY FREAK OUT...HA HA HA
Come on guys, Nick is a private person. What do you think he felt about the naked stalker in his home? Leave him alone. I am a fan of his and love to read the public reports about him, but I'm not such a fan I have to know his every move. Just like to know what projects he is working on so I can enjoy his movies.
YEA I REMEMBER ALL THEM MOVIES THAT CHAZ AND THE OTHER NO BRAIN IDIOTS WERE IN NOT NIC IS AN AWESOME ACTOR AND CAN FART BETTER IDEAS IN HIS SLEEP THAN YOU CAN THINK OF YOUR WHOLE 3 YEARS IN SCHOOL
I think there is a true difference between taking a few photos of celebrities and stalking them. The photographers (not paparazzi, this is America, they are photographers) stalk them when they try to eat, get gas, use a restroom, play with their children. I hope they pass strong stalking laws that apply to them. Sure, you may make your living off of stalking them and pasting pictures of them chewing and with unusual looks on their faces, but they have a right to privacy. Just because they are in movies and TV doesn't give you the right to prevent them from walking, getting to their cars, etc. It's one thing to take their photo at a press event, an awards show or the like but you hound these people to death. I am SO GLAD to hear Nicolas Cage did what he did. You go Nic! It's a shame people patronize the show and the rags they sell their photos to. No wonder they blow up at you.
I agree that the paparazzi can be obnoxious, but I would think Cage would be grateful anyone even cares enough to take his picture. Throwing the tape in the trash was completely out of line. I 've always liked him but if I keep reading about what an ass he is and him overreacting then that will change.
I find it ironic how so many of you come on here and badmouth TMZ, yet somehow you still mangage to click on their site and read all the celebrity news. Realize that these actors/actresses chose their profession and fame comes with a price. If they don't want their pictures taken, then here's a suggestion. Get out of the movie or tv business and move.
Like I said before, you paps are intolerable. If you get within arm's reach of someone, YOU'RE TOO CLOSE!
Back off or be ready to have the digital smacked right offa you.
And quit whining when you get what you deserve.
You get close enough to see these people's brain pan via their nostrils. That's a little too much information, FYI.

TMZ photogs are total lowlives and I can't believe more celebs don't lose it. You get right up in their faces, invade their personal space, block their cars ...it's one thing to take a picture but do you have to be so obnoxious??
Ha!.......not a fan of Nicholas Cage but I applaud him for taking a strong position against the photographers that violate anyone they can make a penny off of.
Comment 40 hit it on the nail.... This crap was directly related to Diana's accident, it ruins lives like Li Lo and Britney, and then you guys post a story about how bad Nic Cage is because he b!tchslaps your a$$ and ruins your film.
WAH !!! YOU PAPS DESERVE IT !!!
GO NICOLAS CAGE !
PS... If more of the celebs did what Nic did, then I bet the paps would think twice before shoving a camera in front of their faces.
I actually enjoy coming to TMZ and seeing a good paparazzi smack-down. I like celebrity news, but - and maybe TMZ doesn't realize this, you don't actually need to be up in the actor's face to get a good shot. Nor do the actors need to be followed 24/7. At some point, someone will get really hurt - and hopefully then there will be finally something done lawfully. I also don't like photos taken at such a range where the actor would never see the camera, that is disturbing too.
Good for him!! Someone made a comment about how these people would be nobody without the paps. That's total bs. Some (many) celebs are known for their WORK in the entertainment business... not everyone is a media wh*re like your Paris Hilton types who thrive on media attention. Some actually have talent. (Not that Nicolas Cage is a favorite of mine or anything....) But if he's doing something that he enjoys and does well enough, then that means paps get a free pass to invade his private life?! I think not. How twisted can you get?!
