Harry Smith Finds Dead "SNLers" to Be Funny

Trying his hand at humor on this morning's "Early Show" -- and failing miserably -- CBS anchor Harry Smith joked to David Spade that Spade was "the only one still alive" in an old "Saturday Night Live" cast photo. *crickets*

The photo, taken during Spade's first season on the show, does feature the late Phil Hartman and Chris Farley -- both of were close friends of Spade's. Among the people in the photo who are still alive are megastars Adam Sandler and Chris Rock. Maybe ya heard of 'em?

Spade handled the situation quite well, and moved on in the interview. Harry? Not so much.

19. Also isn't the guy in the middle on the bottom dead as well? I feel like he died not too long ago.

20. No, he isn't dead (Al Franken)

I didn't watch the comment, but Harry Smith is actually a very nice guy. We all say stupid things.
