O'Reilly In Am-Bush League of His Own with Rosie

Bill O'Reilly hasn't been able to get Rosie O'Donnell on his show, so he brought the show to her!



The FOX News host sent a cameraman and a producer to a Long Island book signing O'Donnell was doing this weekend, to ask Rosie why she wouldn't come on his program. She told O'Reilly's people, "If Bill wants me, he should phone me himself. He's a big boy."

But then the conversation turned to 9/11 and how Bill feels that Rosie mangled the truth by claiming it was "an inside job." Rosie responded, "I didn't say that, he's quoting the wrong people." Someone on TV got something wrong?! Get out!

As the conversation became more heated, one of Rosie's handlers started to shove the camera guy, but Rosie told him not to because, "That's what they want."

The whole incident subsided, and on last night's show, O'Reilly reiterated his invitation for Rosie to appear. He shouldn't hold his breath!

64. Oh, and the only trying to stifle free speech was Rosie's people-trying to shut down Oreilly's people from simply asking questions at a public place. This wasn' t her private property-it was a public place and her goons were trying to shut them down.

65. just goes to show what BO will do for ratings, why is he so obsessed with Rosie, that is her own personal opinion everybody is allowed to have them don't we live in the united states where we have freedom of speech. Rosie did great not giving them anything that they could go back and edit to make her look bad ,because that is what BO does , he edits things to look like his truth, what a jerk as to send people to a book signing where people waited in lines for hours , paid for there book and just wanted there books autographed by Rosie.

67. Bill is correct on this one and has NOT misquoted her. I heard EXACTLY what Rosie said on the VIEW and she is very hypocritical by now claiming she didn't say that.

While I do believe she is entitled to her opinion (even though I disagree with her view on THIS SUBJECT), she should accept his O'Reilly's invitation and explain her reasonings OR now, her view change.

While I have disagreed with BOTH of these individuals on their political issues, I have also agreed with some of their viewpoints. I believe that debates are healthy and entertaining for us to their opposing view points and let US make OUR OWN minds.

Rosie, please accept Bill's invitation and appear on the show.

Just my two cents.

71. O'Reilly claims to be a journalist. While the rest of the networks are showing REAL news, he continues to bash women who have an opinion. How about the gas crisis, Billo, or the Turks gathering on the border of Iraq?? Let's have some real journalistic issues and let Rosie live her life, make a living, and maybe you should get a life too - and do some real journalistic comment on the state of the world and leave the backyard gossip to someone who really cares about such stuff.

73. I don't care for Miss O'Donnell's opinions on much of anything, but the Factor's intrusion into her book signing was beyond rude and unprofessional. She is under absolutely no obligation to do anything Bill O'Reilly wants; she has every right to refuse to answer any questions he or his staff might ask. As for Bill O'Reilly, since the sexual harrassment charges against him, which he settled with lightning speed, I have no interest in anything he has to say.
