Lets Get This Party Started
Britney Blows Off "Blackout" Promo Push

Britney Spears' new album, "Blackout," might be rocking the charts and even the critics, but one person who doesn't seem to care how well it does ... is Britney herself.

Rush and Molloy report that the popmama's label, Jive Records, "has officially given up" on making Brit do anything to support her album release -- no plans for a tour, no interviews, photo shoots, public appearances, etc. "This album could've been so much bigger with Britney involved," says a source.

No doubt Brit's got other things on her mind -- like trying to figure out what to do with all that free time away from her kids. Jive said it's behind Brit "absolutely."

J.Lo Pregnancy – Blown by Designer?

It's an even worse-kept secret than Xtina's preggerishness -- J.Lo's bun(s)-in-the-oven -- and her fave designer, Roberto Cavalli, more or less just spilled the beans.

When asked by People what types of clothing he designs for his clients, he said, "Well, Jennifer Lopez, at this moment, she requests something very special because she is waiting for the baby. It is so complicated because every week she is getting bigger."

It's not all great news for J.Lo -- Page Six says that after her last album bombed and "El Cantante" didn't exactly burn up the box office, her latest flick, "Bordertown," could be going straight to video.

What's The Deal with Seinfeld's Mickey D Shill?

Jerry Seinfeld is out there talking about how great the super-healthy kids' recipes in his wife's bestselling cookbook are.

But as the Huffington Post points out, he's not exactly setting a golden example for his kids, by hawking sausage McMuffins for McDonald's as part of the megapromo for "Bee Movie." While he professed his love for the spinach-packed brownies in "Deceptively Delicious," he's also pushing those 450-calorie, 27-fat-gram McMuffins as well.

Party Favors: Look Out! Naomi Meets with Venezuelan Hothead Chavez ... "Office" Spinoff in the Works? ... Eva LaRue to Gary Dourdan – Gotta be "Extra Careful"

Noted tantrumista Naomi Campbell met with noted Venezuelan dictatorista, Hugo Chavez, on Tuesday at the presidential palace, though she wouldn't divulge why she was there. "I'm not going to be political," hissed Ms. Campbell. ... TVGuide.com's Michael Ausiello reports that NBC is developing new characters for its hit series "The Office" -- with a view to making a spin-off. ... "CSI: Miami's" Eva LaRue tells Chris Yandek of CYInterview.com that colleague/camera-basher/traffic scofflaw Gary Dourdan is finding out the "unfortunate downside" of fame, and that he needs to be "extra careful" in the biz. She also opens up about losing her brother to a drunk driver. ... It's Halloween -- be careful out there.

33. Aw, damn, Brit. Why you blow off your priorites, girl? Oh, maybe that's 'cause the judge ruled you do that in real-life and determined you're an unfit parent. Oh, well. Saves my lungs from shouting it out to you when I go to the launch of your worthless crap CD.

37. Brit is awsome - TMZ promotes for her - CD's selling like crazy - you cant stop her, she commands far more attention than the president of the US - more attention than parasite or the rehab queen. Only person bigger was princess Di.

40. I'm not even particularly a fan, but wish to state that J. Lo should be proud of El Cantante. Sales don't necessarily reflect an album's quality, as middle of the curve music sells the most. She has had enough success to live in peace for 100 lifetimes, and her very best production is almost due. She's earned the right to move on to enjoy the next cycle of life (raising her babies) without putting mainstream pressure on herself, and she should feel proud, always.

41. I think she needs to concentrate on her kids, no doubt. Her CD should be down on the list of priorities but I bought it, and it's not bad.

42. Personally, I do not get this chat at all. I bought her album Monday night. My kids and I waited up for it. It is a exemplar album in my opinion and a perfect example of her singing and entertainment skills. My girls are already making dance moves to her songs, and I am helping them. My husband came home last night and joined in. We love listening to her albums during our vacations in the car and do sing-a-longs with hand movements, etc.. People should really start thanking her for the great music and the good family times people are having all over the world. Send her a letter or support her and buy the album. She is a good mother.

43. Doesn't surprise me that she everything off. Pretty sure though it's Jive's decision.

Promotion would be a disaster

A tour would be a bigger disaster

Brit fans, you can now celebrate having bought her very last CD. No one in the recording industry is ever going to touch her again.

As for what went on in court, she didn't get two days and an overnight. She got two afternoons basically. And if the kids are somewhat normal, they will nap a few hours in the afternoon. They have to eat. On the overnight, sher's going to put them to bed then go out to the gas station and pose, spend some time in a hotel then go back home before the boys get up. All of it supervised (thank God). So she is not going to get a chance to screw them up.

44. FLY ON THE WALL...I do agree with you that she does get the attention and you are a solid
fan, where i come from, you would for sure be a "die hard", but please... in no way, form or fashion can she even be put in the same category as Lady Di.
I use to think Twitney was awesome as well... when she was alittle girl. She is suppose to be a grown woman with two beautiful boys... lets face it, she is not alittle girl, and she for sure is not acting like a grown woman... so you tell me. What do you think her boys will say or even think when they get older and see their mom's "attritbutes" and how she carelessly showed herself to the world. This is not a grown woman and she is no longer awesome, she is weak strung out and pathetic.
