1399. I have to say it's bull what is said in a phone conversation should stay there . I know in my state it's illegal to record a phone conversation and what Tucker , his girlfriend and the stupid ass National Enquirer should all be sued.... What they are doing is so freaking wrong it makes me angry that A&E is not going to air the show.... WTF... Dog gives people second chances every freaking day and now he is not getting another chance. I mean I know I have used that N -word in my own home but I am not a racist person growing up my parents had family friends who were colored. ALL DOG FANS NEED TO STICK TOGETHER AND PROTEST A&E UNTIL THEY AIR DOG ......IF WE DO THIS THE RATINGS WILL DROP AND THEY WILL BE FORCED TO AIR DOG.......

1400. You know people need to leave Dog alone I feel and maybe more people will agree Tucker and his girlfriend are golddiggers.... What Tucker , his girlfriend and the National Enquirer did was WRONG... What we say behind close doors is our business. recording his own father and then giving it to the National Enquirer is WRONG.. They always put things that are not for the public's business. I am sure most of us have used the N word at home. So Dog is always giving people second chances why don't all of you hater just knock it off and if you don't like Dog well then don't watch the show. A&E needs to air the show or I know myself and other will protest. I won't even watch CSI Miami on A&E. There ratings are going to drop and I hope then they will be forced to play the show again......

1401. I'd like to know how the online petition works. Are the "signatures" verified? Or can you just make up or sign another person's name on it? Just like these forum's. Can you switch screen names several times and make it appear that Dog has more support then he actually has? Cause I can't believe that this many people are willing to stand up for a man who clearly has a problem with black people. And the amount of posts claiming to be black people that were not at all offended is unreal! I think A&E should go out into the public and ask people face to face IF ANYTHING. Cause I really can't see that there are that many out the not concerned with racism in this country in this day and age. Makes me wonder. Thanks A&E for doing the right thing and taking tis show off the air. You know you did the right thing!

1402. Wow, this is the first time I have had the chance to actually listen to any exert of the conversation & I am shocked but I can't say I'm suprised. My expectation was derived from the cosmetic, though it is hard not to identify white men with mullets with "racism." My expectation comes from the way he presents himself on the show. He doesn't act as a bounty hunter should, he acts above the law & involves himself in the aspects of peoples lives he should never assert himself.
Before listening to this recording, I read a story where he said "I am going to be in the same catagory as, Imus." Duane Chapman, you are far past the catagory of Don Imus. Don Imus said nothing close to what you said. Hell you couldn't be put in the same catagory as Mark Furhman. There is only one person with you on your plateau of racism & that's Michael Richards. The only reason Richards may come ahead of you is because he made his remarks in public during a comedy performance. I am willing to forgive him, especially since the remarks were made in a conversation he assumed was private, but it says alot when your own son will sell you out like that. I have yet to complete that novel, but for your son to attempt to tear down everything you built it means that you have some serious personal issue.
In closing, I have to believe you gave yourself the nickname 'Dog' not because you are a great bounty hunter. You gave yourself the nickname 'Dog' because it reads 'God' when you look in the mirror.

1403. Seems to me he (Dog) was very calm during the conversation and noone knows what lead up to it. Obviously the son is vendictive to sell the tape. You can hear in his voice the son is the one upset because his Dad is telling him the girl threatended them. He's denying to his father anyone would tape anything and he did just that. Not justifiying Dogs opinion, just saying there are tow side to every story.

1407. Dog Chapman, I am shocked and surprised at your child! People have conversations everyday with their children...sometimes on the phone. Not all conversations with an offspring can be considered beneficial...parents make mistakes too. I can remember some harsh words of my parents and other parents also.
I guess they were lucky to not have their words recorded and aired or replayed.
People who judge you the harshest are the guiltiest ones....but aren't famous enough to have their advice...good, bad, indifferent....to be aired publicly.
SHAME ON A&E for taking all the good you have done, not only for criminals who want reformed...but for their network...overlooking it and cancelling your show.
We are at War today...many of my family included...past and present...protecting rights of ALL. This includes a right to privacy and freedom to speak our minds. Where do people get off intimidating networks to cancel a show because a man has a private phone conversation with his son (apparently forseeing what could and did happen) that they took personally?! It was none of our business anyway! Just made for good media that a son turned against his famous father. This is the heartbreak a parent sometimes faces.

1408. We use the N word in our house also. We have friends that are black also. However, what ever happened to privacy? I think TMZ is taking things farther and farther. It's sad to think that privacy is of no more in this world. You should have to get permission before posting or displaying alot of the things TMZ airs. Civil rights are being violated BIG TIME in this world.
I like Dog. And I will continue to like Dog. That was a private conversation and TMZ had no business airing that. Also, I think that there should be a law regarding the papparazzi and how far up someones ass you really need to be. It's disgusting to look at you crowding these celebrities trying to get in their vehicles whether alone or with their kids. I've seen papparazzi chasing them down the road like dogs while their driving off. Do we need another Princess Diana incident? Because it' s bound to happen. BACK OFF of these people. The law should state 6 feet of distance between you and them. Go follow some convicted serial rapist or child molester around for days and months on end. That way the whole world can reconize them and know to stay far, far, away.

1409. Let's see...young one upsets dad...dad loses his cool and says some things...son decides to show dad who is in control and show his girlfriend he is a stand up guy..impress her. Question? Was this a set up? I don't recall ever taping my parents because getting into trouble was never planned...oh well...son releases tape to media for who knows what reasons...dad gets fired/loses business...the whole family loses..including the kid who opened the can of worms. Who cares if Dog is racist or not.? His son cut off his nose to spite his face. He'll figure it out when he grows up. Dog and his family/show/business does not affect my life one way or another.
