Dog Chapman's Hate-Filled Tirade

1471. It is very clear from listening to the tape that Dog was trying to make a point to his son. I honestly don't feel like he was addressing anyone in particular, but using the slur in general terms. This is no different than someone using the term WOP. Most Italians know what this means and its conotations, however, since it doesn't apply to me why should I be offended. I am tired of everyone walking on egg shells and not being able to speak their mind especially in their own homes!

1472. I can't believe this nonsense. What the hell is matter with you stupid butt people who see nothing wrong with what Dog said? That he thinks like this is what is disturbing. Oh yeah, let's not here from any more "so-called" blacks supporting Dog. I don't know if you are black nor do I care. I don't understand what relevance you color or race have on the subject matter. As we all know many wrong-headed blacks willing served with the confederate army so I think you get my meaning. For those who say we are simply dealing with a word your turn will come. And to say he's racist, everybody is to a certain degree, and if you say your not your lying!!!!
Racist against sterotypes, everybody does it. Rather its a redneck, or any other name I can not post because some people are "offended".
Why is it when a black person says it, its okay, and if a latin person says it, its still ok, and if a comedian say it, hey guess what,,,,,,its still ok!!!! But if a WHITE person says it, oh shame on him!!!!!!! Please spare me people!!!!!!

1475. Dog's comments were on a PRIVATE phone call. It's his opinion, which he is entitled to, whether you like it or not. How would you like all of your phone calls and messages made public? His son should be arrested for invasion of privacy.

1476. He always seemed self absorbed in the show, which I watched twice. Because the female is black does not make her a "n", I know others not black who are True "n's".
As far as for him losing his fame, it is fleeting, even in the best of times. Too bad his sons girlfriend had to be caught up in this awful scenerio. Rock on, Lady. I am sorry you had to be caught up in such a fiasco.

1477. When do we start regulating the things that Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle and lots and lots of black rap stars say? THEY call each other the "N" word, but let a caucasian say that word, and brother, LOOK OUT! Does no one remember the 70's TV show "The Jeffersons", where Sherman Hemsley's character George Jefferson routinely used the word "honkey" to refer to white people? Did that show get sensored? Were the writers of that show fired? Come on people....do you believe for one minute that the writers of that show used the word honkey as a term of endearment? So here's a guy who dedicates himself to taking drug dealers and users off the streets and because his own flesh and blood, who BY THE WAY WAS CONVICTED FOR DRUG USE, tapes his own father's telephone conversation for monetary gain, the US is going to condemn him and make an example of him because of a WORD? Grow up, America.

1481. I think it is ridiculous that everyone is jumping all over this like flies on crap. Everyone uses racist language in one way or another on a daily basis. Whether or not people want to admit it, race is a factor in American Society and when someone who is different from you screws you over, its easy to call on their race. I guarantee that there are famous African American people out there that say racist things about white people all the time. No one ever records these people saying anything because then they couldn't play the victim anymore. And even if someone did catch an African American calling a white person a honkey or cracker, we wouldn't have an Al Sharpton equivalent running around the streets crying about he said she said. Freedom of speech, get over it. Oh yea, if you want this word to die, stop using it amongst your own people. Not a racist, just telling it like it is.

1482. According to the nightly news... racial tension is still a huge issue in this country so why are you so upset when you hear about a celebratety who has used the N word. I doubt seriously that you have never ever in your whole entire life done the same thing. Get off the Dog's back and deal with the real issue here. The issue of Dog's son betraying his father. When did this become acceptable. The Dog had his right to his own opinion as to what he thinks his son should do with his life. Just as his son had the right to ignore his dad's advice and do what he wants. But for his son to sell him out like that! For shame. And if you are upset by what the Dog did, what makes his wife fair game for name calling? I am refering to the Pig comment written above by Brittany the Skank. Now do you think it is ok to insult fat people but not ok to use the N word. Is it really right to do either?
