Snapped riding shotgun in Beverly Hills, the 26-year-old showed none of that Brokeback love toward a photographer -- and smacked the lensman's camera. How butch!
Apparently, Jake and the pap are not fishin' buddies.

Yep, the new job hazard for the buggerazzis so I guess they better get used to it.
ANYTIME things escalate to the point where people routinely go over the line there is a backlash. Now the bugs are experiencing it.

Exactly!
These shutterbug stalkers have turned into filty peeping-Toms.
They are even photographing each other getting down to crotch level in order to get the "money" shot. I can't even tell you how revolting that is.
Hey TMZ, I love your website but do wish you guys could manage to stay back far enough from these people that you and all the rest of the paps weren't so "in your face" all the time. As long as you guys insist on filming the way you do, any pap that sticks a camera that close, deserves anything he gets.
WE are the problem. Like junk food, we're fed a steady diet of celebrity crap from 'NEWS SOURCES'. With only a handfull of Media giants dispensing the same stuff through all their outlets, we're bombarded with this info. from so many ends that we actually treat it as legitimate news. You might like the taste of McDonalds, but you know it's not good for you. The same goes for mass media. If we stop feeding the beast, it'll go away.
BTW: I realize the irony of my comments being posted on a site such as this. I just need a Big Mac in my mouth as I type this out to complete the picture.
I can't say I blame the guy. I am sure there are alot of celebrities who are sick and tired of having a camera shoved in their faces everytime they step outside their homes. Yes, the paparazzi are a part of the fame, but many times they cross the line. Back off, guys, and give the celebs a little breathing room willya? We dont need to know every detail of their lives.
I think that paperazzi should be treated like any other intruder. They are, for the most part, not cameramen from any legitimate news source. They are not registered and they do not photograph news; they are freelancers who sell their pictures to the highest bidder and the dirt they photograph should not be in the papers. It gives the idiotsa who read about it the mistaken belief that they are entitled to interfere with the private life of a public person.
They intrude into areas of the lives of people in the news that are otherwise not newsworthy. Someone taking his kids out to dinner is not news. Someone walking her dog is not news. Someone getting drunk while driving with her kids, is news ... but isn't fair journalism to photograph her throwing up. Perhaps she wouldn't have gotten drunk if she hadn't been operating under the misguided belief that everything she does is newsworthy and that she is so forgotten that she would do anything including flashing her private parts to be seen again.
When you are gay you just never know when you are going to snap.....probably that time of the month...............period!

Just a question? Is English even your third or fourth language?
I'm having a little difficulty deciphering your scribbles.
Friends, countrymen, and fellow TMZers, I come to praise the Paps, not attack them. They give us photos we wanna see under great duress. I point with pride to them!
He's in a car - roll up the window. If it wasn't for the Paparazzi, we wouldn't have anything to read or look at on sites like TMZ!!!
Without the paps giving people like Jake any publicity, he would be a nobody.. Oh my fault he already is a nobody. If I had been the pap, I'd have dragged him out for the window and taught him some respect.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
