Jen, Liv and Uma Push Back at Paps

31. I have said it time and time again, why can't anyone write a celebrity gossip article without stalking these people?! It should be illegal to hunt human beings down like they are game! We don't need pictures of celebrities buying toilet paper or walking down the street, doing everyday things. We get that they are like us, let’s move on. It's far more interesting to me to see a celebrity on the red carpet, that is something not all of us get to experience. I understand the interest in photos from that. I love celebrity gossip, but it's one thing to write it and quite another to be a stalker and that is what these paparazzi are, stalkers. Why would the average person be able to get a restraining order against a stalker, but there is no official rule about how far paparazzi can go?! Something needs to be done about this or sometime soon I fear a tragic senario. I feel so bad for these women and their children, how terrifying. For gosh sake, show some respect for the kids and let them be kids and enjoy Halloween! Your story acts like the paparazzi were so awful and then you put your own video up? Why did you even put this up on your web site?

32. Oh real nice, Uma. Teach your kids to be disrespectful to the photographers. I guess the kids are too young to realize that their charmed life and everything in it is because of your fame, which is helped by the way, by photographers who take your picture. I agree that the photographers should make sure they keep a distance to some degree, but they're doing their job by taking pictures of celebrities. If celebrities don't like it, let them get a different job and refuse their gigantic paychecks.

35. Last Sunday, I took my daughter to the Liberty Science Center in NJ. At one point, she was playing on a "bubble machine" with 2 other girls. This woman walks into the room, in front of where I was sitting and after a few seconds, I realize it was Uma Thurman and my daughter is playing with hers. Cool, I think as I reach for my camera. But as I pull it out of my pocket, I realize that nobody else in the room recognizes her, or at least shows it. And as much as I might like a picture of her, do I really want to be the one to spoil her day out with her kids by attracting attention to her? I put my camera back in my pocket. The point? Hey, we all love celebrities, why else would we cruise this site. But even celebrities deserve time off. If they are on the carpet, it's open season,shoot away. But waiting on their front porch for them to come home from taking their kids trick or treating? Sorry, bad taste.
