Jen, Liv and Uma Push Back at Paps

Halloween is a day for the ghoulish and garish, but it was the paparazzi who were especially scary yesterday, pushing two of Hollywood's sweetest mommies -- Jennifer Garner and Liv Tyler -- to the edge in New York.


Garner was out for a walk with baby Violet on the Upper West Side, when a couple of photogs got right up in Violet's face, forcing Jen to give them a stern stiff arm.

Later on, Liv Tyler brought the kids home after a night of trick-or-treating in the West Village, only to find shooters crawling all over her stairs. After demanding that they scram, Liv was polite enough to thank them for not trespassing on her property.

But it was a couple of Uma Thurman's youngsters who truly knew what's what, feeding the flashers a series of raspberries before retreating into a Manhattan house, following the lead of Mama Uma.

46. The police force must start arresting the paparazzi. They are putting children at risk and are costing tax payers alot of money because the police have to be called to protect people and their children against the obnoxious paparazzi. Enough already, somebody create a law that protects children against ignorant photographers from sticking a camera in his or her face.
Is this not child abuse, arrest these idiot photographers.

47. These people might have choice their profession but the public doesnt own them.I am sure if you have a job once your off you would like to relax.Your not in work mode 24-7.Unless your a robot and soon you will burn out.

49. It's too bad one mom said the F word to the paps while holding her child ("get the f*** off my stairs"), and Uma allowed her child do make the "kiss my a**" motions. Not very classy. That said, there should be a law that these stalkers have to stay 100 feet from their victims.

51. Paparazzi should be required to stay at LEAST 10 feet away. Ha Ha that way they might not get run over....!!!! Nor would they be able at that distance to stop someone from going somewhere in an elevator. Or being able to walk down a sidewalk. It's great to hear what stars are up to, but you don't want them ps'd off all the time.... no one would ever be able to meet the real them.
