L.A. Lakers star Lamar Odom's accident victim is suffering from paralysis of the left leg.
TMZ has obtained these photos of the crash -- just moments after it happened.
Family members of the woman tell TMZ that since the accident, she has not had use of her left leg. They also describe her as being positive and "keeping her chin up" about recovery.
Police are investigating Odom for allegedly running a red light in his Mercedes and T-boning a Geo Prism driven by a 37-year-old woman. Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to extract the woman from the wreckage. We're told Lamar did stay and comfort her until help arrived.

20. I"m sorry, but am I the only one who finds it interesting that after a lot of accidents the Paps are there "just moments after it happens"? So do they drive around looking for accidents hoping it will be a star of some sort? Or could it be something more? "Just moments after Blooms" accident, too. Which is now being blamed on the Paps? Sure, this guy is at fault too because that is reckless driving....but still. Maybe I'm thinking too much into this.
22. This accident happened at the corner of Aviation and Rosecrans near El Segundo. I drive through this intersection 4 or 5 times a day. Gheezus, there are like a TON of people who cross this intersection to get to the 405. Of all intersections I can't imagine a worse intersection to be at. This area has a ton of Aerospace companies that probably employ 100k+ people all of whom cross here.

23. I hope she's okay! Kudos to Lamar for staying on the scene, as it seems to be too common for celebs to flee. As for the NBA insults- he's about the best thing the Lakers have next to Kobe, and about the only positive aspect announcers have mentioned this season (re: his post-op return). I am not a Lakers fan but he's consistently improved his game over the years and not many other players can say that.
And regardless of who ran the red light- that happens all the time in SoCal! I HATE driving around here but it's so common that at any intersection from L.A. down to Irvine, it's a good idea to wait a bit after the light turns green... the cops gotta do a bit more about that. Traffic here sucks but accidents just make it worse- drivers take note!

SECOND OFF - this is not about someone "hitting someone" .... oops I did not see the car - this is about someone RUNNING A RED LIGHT - RED LIGHT - and hitting someone. Now this girl may never walk again. Thats what this is about. You told us to get a life........ why dont YOU get a clue!!!! DUH!
