48. i think people need to get over this. its a real shame his show was pulled from the airwaves. its something that didnt need to happen to such a wonderful man who helped practically everyone and anyone. it doesnt serve him right that this happened. it did not need to happen at all to him.

54. Networks over reacting again. When will people stop letting letters offend them. So what if he says N***a? So what if anyone says Ch**k or G**k or B****r?? What's the big friggin deal? He apologized and now lets move on. Love or hate his show, he doesn't deserve to be canceled. And Imus didn't deserve to be kicked off radio. Just a bunch of overly sensitive people, overreacting to nothing-again. And they will do it again and again if the networks fold to their demands. By the way Networks-those people who get their panties in a bunch over nothing do not speak for everyone.

55. My husband is black and we had a talk about this last night, and what suprised me was he wasn't upset by what Chapman said. He felt and so do I that this was a private conversation and that how many of us have used racial, sexist etc... comments whan discussing other people? Most people are guilty of this, including my husband. He never uses that word himself, we both find it offensive, but we think Chapman was just caught up in the moment.
