Seinfeld to King: "Do You Know Who I Am?"

It's hard to tell when comedian Jerry Seinfeld is joking and when he's serious, but he looked a bit perturbed when Larry King mixed up his details about Jerry's classic show. What's the deal with that?

On Thursday's "Larry King Live," the King asked Jerry if "Seinfeld" was canceled back in the day, and Jerry seemed genuinely shocked that Larry (his "Bee Movie" co-star) didn't know. "You think I got canceled?" Jerry shot back. "=I was the number one show on television=, Larry ... 75 million viewers in the last episode." Clearly, Larry is not master of his domain.

As Larry played it off and went to commercial, Jerry threw in one last zinger: "Can we get a resume in here for me for Larry to go over?" Zing!

301. Humble Bee, the Bumble Bee
Will never be Jerry's name.
We don't need Dr. Ruth
To tell us he is vain.

302. I know what it is. its the Seinfeld Curse they always talk about. Like how none of those who were in the Cast will ever have a succesful long running stint ever again. Guess Jerry is cursed too. Look at the comments here. For a guy who was so beloved he sure seems to be almost hated now. guess that happens not just cause you're cursed but being an A hole yourself can do that to you.

Hope your Bee Movie runs for a week and they have to release it on Video cause it sucked so bad.

Ebert gave it 2 stars. That isnt being a good movie

304.
Jerry dumped his fans when he quit the show. He said back then that he wanted to leave before the show started tankin' . OKAY FINE<

SO now what does JErry go and do ? By insulting all of us with his obnoxious personality, which was cute when he was little, but NOW is just plain PLAYED OUT ; SO in essence HE is doing what he said he didn't want to do when he quit. (tanking)

Jerry you can't come home.

305. I'm sure I'm in the minority saying this, but I've never gotten either one of them. I did watch Seinfeld, but only for his co-stars. He's way too full of himself for me! As for Larry, my year old grandson could interview people better. He gets confused alot!

306. King has got to go. Unless CNN wants to continue dumbing down their audiences. Sure he gets the elite to appear, primarily because he WAS the standard from long ago back in Radio days when he did in fact do his homework.

He has not engaged in the lively art of conversation in over a decade now. His scowling, reading directly from cards and alway asking the obligatory "how did it feel" question is growing old.

He has rarely done a follow up question to an answer that was based on the answer just given..but rather goes to the next question written for him on his blue cards as if he didnt even hear a response.

He has become an example of how NOT to conduct an interview. Its not an interview, its become a Q and A session. Alas, the next question is never based on the previous answer but simply the required Blue Card.

307. I think that was very arrogant and immature on Jerry Seinfeld's part. Everyone is entitled for their mistakes.... This was Jerry's... I didn't think the question from Larry was wrong or in any way condescending.... it was a Lowest common denominator question..

I liked Jerry till this moment.. From now on, I will be reserved in my appreciation of his show..

309. Why is it when you click on the "video" to see this, it never comes up something else comes up. Major mistake on tmz. if I wanted to see it I cannot. Yes I agree time for Larry to retire. He seems like he is half asleep most of the time. I think the show is past his bed time.

310. Seinfeld was very reasonable in his response, and I think that most people would have been annoyed at Larry King. King's line of questioning was very stupid, and he should have known a little more about Seinfeld's career before having him on for an interview.

311. God I remember the last few years fondly, a time when I didn't need to here or see Jerry Seinfeld at all. it was so nice and peaceful without the whining....................................
And to make matters worse The Wife........ Yikes. Not the Honeymoon husband jumping bimbo hocking her plagiarized cook book................
To Bad for Larry King, he seems to be losing it, and Jerry's Zinger? Who really cares. He's technically a comedian and a whining smart ass.... Its what he does.

312. Lordy, Lordy...when will Larry King retire??? I try to watch his shows sometimes because he does have some good guests but the man is just dingy! Jerry Seinfeld is a brilliant comedian and I love to watch him. It's embarrassing that Larry would make such idiotic mistakes that he does...and not just to Jerry but MOST of the guests. Larry, give it up, old man, and go to the house, watch the kiddies. Time has definitely marched over his mind!!

313. The mark of a true professional is knowing when to quit. Larry King is well past his prime, and it is beginning to show in interview after interview. Mr. King, it's time to put the microphone away.

Posted at 1:38AM on Nov 5th 2007 by Chuck P

314. One of King's trademarks has been professing to not doing any prep on his guests--not reading the books, the c.v.'s, etc. Another way of saying, "I'm too busy...I'm too important...I'm too special to be expected to do research"... even though heavy-hitter interviewers such as Mike Wallace pride themselves in how well-prepared they are. The Seinfeld interview is yet another example of how this pathetic excuse for softball, rambling interviews has come back to bite King in the bum. The King is dead. CNN needs to cease tarnishing its otherwise excellent journalistic reputation; replace this narcissistic throwback to the 1950's Playboy era with a caring, committed, research driven journalist...before its too late.

315. Jerry, do you really believe that " L. RON SCAMMER'S" "Mother ship" will save you ?? " Not that their's anything wrong with that "... I've never been more disappointed in my whole life since I found out that you were a convert to SCIENTOLOGY !!! Just what in the hell were you thinking when you converted ?? Yes, there is a "higher power", but it isn't "L. RON SCAMMER" !!! I've enjoyed your sitcom, and watched you progress, but NO MORE !!! Money isn't everything Jerry... You've "sold out" to a false entity and I'm sure it will come back to haunt you..
