Garrett and Wife Don't Wait "'Til Death" to Part

It's ridiculous to equate your own divorce shafts with Brad Garrett and his ex...Are you making 10 million a year? We are talking in money terms that are not average, everyday joe amounts. Get real! If my ex made 10M and I had been married 7 years and had 2 kids, I would expect 55K a month at the very minimum! That is less than 10% of his income. Garrett got off cheap. The average child support payment is 25% of monthly income..not to even mention spousal support. A good man wants his children and his ex-wife to have a decent life and not to financially suffer if the marriage doesn't work out. If he has the money to send his children to excellent schools and allow his ex to be able to stay at home and care for them, more power to them all! How sad would it be to force the ex to go out and get a job when the girlfriends/mistresses, etc are all being "kept"?

I saw him on Martha where he kept trying so hard to be funny it became annoying. Even Martha seemed to be a bit off by his behavior. She kept trying to keep up the pace of the show and stick to the script but he kept trying to do his comedic bit. I changed the channel because of how irritating and unfunny he was.

Good...he's nothing but a self-loathing racist anyway.

First of all to the guy who did the addition...a million dollar mortgage costs approx. $6,000.00 per month, that's $720,000 per year not $240,00. I have two sons living in million dollar homes and that's what they are paying per month. The law is the law whether we agree with it or not. California is a community property state, she gets 1/2. Take it up with your representatives if you don't like the law and try and get it changed. She is getting what she in entitled to UNDER THE LAW. That's what pre-nups are for.

Personally, I have been divorced for 10 years , I have 2 kids one boy and one girl, I have "NOT" remarried. I have had a least one long realtionship since my divorce, and that eneded. It is just me , and the kids and the dog. Right now. I am working on me.
Maybe someday I will find love again, but as for right now. I'm happy!

Is it just me or doesn't anyone notice how horrible grammar has become with "journalists" like the one who wrote this. "Brad Garrett and his wife Jill Diven have finalized their divorce of seven years" ??? DIVORCE of 7 years - I guess they just couldn't end it !!! Hello - it was a MARRIAGE of 7 years. The divorce has been going on for a year !! What is happening in our schools these days?
