62. These people are touching the cars with there body parts trying to get pictures and they wonder wyhy they get hurt! No one should be able to file a lawsuit b/c there to close to someone elses car! Keanu should sue this person for loss of time

64. Hopefully the judge will throw this out. If the paps don't want run over, then get the frick out of the way! They seem to think all they have to do is jump in front of a celebrity's car, and they can force them to stop for pictures. I'm all for banging up a few of these parasites and maybe then they'll develope a little common sense. These celebrities don't owe us anything except a good job of acting when we plunk down our dollars in the movie theater. To expect anything more is just sour grapes because we aren't them.

Maybe they should started to run over Paparazzi instead of just hit them in the future and they might get a hint that they need to give some people freedom to live and move around.

I bet no jury is going to find in favor of this paparazzi and maybe it will send a message to the rest of them to back off finally.

66. eh, keanu "kenny" reeves won't be inconvenienced that much. he's a famous hollywood movie star and he's loaded and the local judicial officers will lay down and roll in his feces before actually fining him or reprimanding him in any significant way.

paps contribute nothing and only perpetuate this culture of gossip and manufactured images.

70. There paps are ridiculous the way they hound and chase these stars and stand right in front of cars so the person can't drive away. The pap will lose or it will get thrown out as frivilous.

BTW, Keanu is set to film THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL in Canada. Wish the studios would get creative and stop doing remakes. No wonder I don't go to the movies anymore.

73. I don't think paps should be physically hurt intentionally, but there should be more laws about the rash and aggressive actions they take.

As for Keanu, all the articles at the time said he was /not/ arrested, he was never charged, he /certainly/ wasn't handcuffed, and that he'd done nothing wrong. A number of reports said the car Keanu was driving was moving too slowly to have hurt him even if it did "graze" him, which is all any report ever said it did.

It's nuts the way the paps stalk and harass stars, and it's nuts the way tabloids try to blow things out of proportion to make stars look bad. Keanu wasn't handcuffed and he didn't "ram" anyone. Report the truth, don't make things up just to create drama where there isn't any.
