Nicky-O Hotel a No-Go

31. The investors on this project started pulling their money out when
they found out how inexperienced and incompetent she was....she
refused to show for planning meetings, she knew nothing about
contract work, zoning, permits, etc. and when the investors found out
she was refusing to participate in the actual "work" they pulled out.
She actually thought she could pick out the colors for the hotel and
then take credit for the entire project and the people running the
project decided not to allow that to happen.

#32 Is absolutely right!! It's all a house of cards.

That's one racist, ignorant family that will eventually get what they deserve.

And why doesn't the media do stories about how racist the Hilton family is...they've been caught on tape several times using the "n" word, but they aren't aired on every station and talked about non stop. Why isn't TMZ buying those tapes and putting them on their site?

Jealous? Please. Cashing in on the notoriety of a sex tape is hardly something to look up to. This side of the Hilton family is not exactly "to the manor born." Rather, they are well known to be just the opposite. That recent article in Vanity Fair was right on target. No wonder PH is ridiculed and booed. PH has to be the most disprespected "celebrity" in America today. And rightfuly so. Thankfully, most of us have higher standards.

I'm afraid I disagree.

Contrary to what some people think, this high-school dropout “heiress” does work. Paris constantly sells herself to the highest bidder as a nightclub pusher. This “famous for being famous” tabloid headliner also shills the Paris Hilton brand name by leasing her name to manufacturers who produce perfume she didn’t create and clothing she doesn’t design.

What is troubling is the appeal this type of narcissistic celebrity has on a smaller segment of our pop-culture. Ms. Hilton personifies a superficial obsession with money and fame – without substance, regardless of the costs. Without the sex tape, jail stint and Hilton name that Paris has thoroughly exploited, the media and “let’s make a deal” would have left this phony standing at the curb a long time ago. This is why she is so widely criticized. This is hardly, “The American Dream.”
