Trey Songz to Cops: Don't You Know Who I Am?

R&B singer Trey Songz was arrested in Springfield, Mass. late Saturday night, when he and several members of his posse got "combative" with police officers. Can't help but wait!
Breaking News
Cops booked Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Springfield PD tells TMZ that officers were investigating a shot fired in the parking lot after the Songz show, when the singer tried to insert himself into the crime scene investigation. When asked by police to butt out, he responded with, "Don't you know who I am?!" Obviously not.

Trey is scheduled to be arraigned today on the double charge.

49. First of all half if not all of you so ridiculously ignorant. Where do I start? How about by first point out the facts, since some of you just choose to read the caption and look at the picture and ASSUME to know the details:;

1. He's not a rapper, he's an R&B singer; completely different genre.

2. La Reina: Rappers using "stage names" is know different then writers, writing under different names. It seperates the artist from the person.

3. Viewsonic: First of all to even begin to get you to understand how ignorant you sound, I'd first have to explain that rap itself is an art, whether you believe it or not. And that a lot of rappers prefer using their personal experiences (just like writers, artists, singers...etc). Being that rap is an art of the minorities, and lower class....it's going to reflect what they experience. So if your uncomfortable or irrtated by what their rapping about just imagine what it must be like to actually be experiencing it.

4. Rap CAN be a form of poetry....not all rappers represent the craft well, as with anything there's going to be the good and the bad.

5.L.A. Douchenozzle, Esq & Slomoe: I mean honestly your comments weren't even needed. You provided no insight into the problem but just a view of what the issue really is....IGNORANCE AND DISCRIMINATION IN AMERICA. Inmate #.....Buck Wheat....I mean really. TMZ needs to delete both of those comments....

6. "I know much"....you don't appear to represent your name very well. Don't use a term that you obviously don't understand. How bout you research the word "thug".


And it's easy to speak against when in reality you have no idea.....KNOWLEDGE IS POWER......LIVE AND LEARN PEOPLE

He's TREY SONGZ!!! a very popular R&B artist, and while the comment he made was silly, he's still a great artist. I guess it's easy to see what demographic reads this site!!!
