31. I'd still do John Taylor. He looks the least haggered out of the bunch.

32. Truth be told..I named my oldest son after John Taylor.

Now, that is sad to be that much in love with a Duranite that you name your first born after them!!

33. I have worked backstage for Duran Duran and i just wanted to report that the guys are still pretty great. I have talked to John and Simon for a minute and they are very nice guys. I would have to say they still have it going on! Their music is just as good as ever. Some bands do get worse with time but these guys are great talents and just as fun to watch!

36. Hey I saw them in Toronto back in just 2005. And they can still ROCK! I think I enjoyed them more 22 years later then when I originally saw them at 15 in1983.

38. THEY ARE STILL HOT AND STILL PUTTING OUT NEW MUSIC. They haven't quite become a parody of themselves like Van Halen per se. Duran Duran's music still gives me chills it is so good. Going back just a bit, I remember when "Ordinary World" came out in '93. I had this massive sound system in my condo. The top floor was like a tower with no walls abutting the neighbors. So, I could crank up the music like it was ten floors high. Dang I miss that since I moved from San Diego to Boston. I use to come home from the beach and bury myself in "Ordinary World", then switch to Moby, "Porcelain", and calm down with "Linger" by the Cranberries. I worked hard. Life was good. 80's Duran Duran was so-o-o hot! Anyone who missed the 80's as a young adult, you have no idea what you missed. Everything happened so BIG and so FAST it was crazy. CD's, PC's, MTV, Walkman's, Answering Machines, Portable phones, VCR's (yes, VCR's) all became big in the 80's. Never at any time in our history has there been such a rapid burst of new technology in such a short span. Now it's all just fine-tuning most of the same. What's next, I wonder? Okay, I'm babbling. I'm on vacation. Time to get outside. See ya!
