Jen Garner to Paps: I Got Me Some PoPo

Former "Alias" CIA agent Jennifer Garner made friends with an unlikely ally yesterday -- the NYPD.

With overwhelming and aggressive paparazzi attention surrounding celebrity moms in NYC lately (see Liv Tyler, Mary-Louise Parker), it's easy to understand why the mom of adorable Violet Affleck might befriend the boys in NYPD blue.

Garner even exchanged digits with one of the officers. Gotta love a man in uniform!

31. Hey, NY Doll. I agree with your post, and I am embarrassed by the paparazzi invasion here. We New Yorkers pride ourselves on showing restraint around celebs, so that they may feel free to enjoy our city unmolested. This whole pap culture is getting entirely too far out of hand. When you are flashing your cameras into the faces of terrified children, you've gone too far. If I see one of you harassing a celeb mother and baby, I promise that my friends and I will step in. Jen, the NYPD are the finest in the world; don't hesitate to utilize their services.

32. TMZ, Have some decency. The mother is with her child. Do you really need to get a shot of that? Do you really think the world really needs to see that? These papparazzi are so aggressive, break traffic laws without a second thought and put even the public in danger. Just lay off a bit would you?

33. any one with common sense that has kids would leave the children alone, no matter who the parent is, you wonder why hollywood children grow up with a distorted idea of life?
props to the parents who dont parade their kids around,,,, and some might take some lessons.

34. for all the people that have no sympathy, put yourself in her shoes. She's a woman carrying a sleeping baby who gets surrounded by what would be mostly men all trying to get close to her and her young child. Imagine how that would feel.
