147. She took the $10,000, took the free hotel room, took the free air fare. And we're supposed to feel bad that she had to pay for a few items out of her own pocket? If she didn't get the balance of what she was owed, she could have stayed home and sent the money and plane tickets back. Or why didn't she show up and ask for it when she got there. How stupid does she think people are??!! I hope that group sues her to get their money back. She's nothing but a thief and Court TV should cancel her show like A&E did to Dog. He used the N word in a private phone conversation. She commited a crime by taking money for services not rendered. She can put whatever dimwitted spin she wants on it but nobody is buying it. 150. Where is the evidence that Fat and Fabulous is a non profit ? Seems like all I've seen is that they are a FOR PROFIT group. Inasmuch, they certainly bear the responsibility to handle their end of a contract. They did not do so.

Most of what Star Jones does and says leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but it does not change the ever-growing evidence in this case, that she was in the right from a legal standpoint. She cannot be compelled to follow an ethical or moral standard not encompassed within the 4 corners of the contract.
