35. Star is no role model! I wouldnt pay $1.00 to go see that beached whale. Yea she got her big belly stapled but I bet she has enough lose skin to make another co-host for The View, free of charge. I couldn't stand to listen to her and a few other on that show and have ZERO respect for her. She can holla breach of contract all she wants but deep down inside she knows that she screwed over those people. Give their hard earned money back Starr and then go back into your cave and hibernate. Remember its winter time! I will pray for your poor husband Al because lord knows, he needs it. One word lof advice for you Al.......run while the running is good! Leave that thang behind you. The public won't hold it against you. Everyone deserves one mistake and marrying her was yours.

37. Did she gve the $10,000 back for not appearing? Is there such a thing as a 5 star hotel in Detroit? Their own pocket...which took at least $10,000 from a local organization. She's for for-profit entitiy for sure!

Not for nothing but when hotels work with groups (especially big events), it is impossible to call the hotel directly to "confirm" that there were hotel rooms being held until a few days before the event. In fact, unless you talk directly to the group manager in the sales department, you might have as well have asked the restroom attendant. AND if there was so much research being done, why didn't Star's office know that this shady non-profit is probably not going to be able to seal the deal. (HELLO -- they've NEVER filed a tax return.) And, the contract states that the organization is a FOR PROFIT organization while they claim non-profit status and solicit donations.

Anyway, here's the best part. from Star's response:

"On October 3, 2007, Steve Wilson a local reporter from WXYZ-TV in Detroit orchestrated an “ambush” interview in my private offices at Court TV arranged under false pretenses in order to obtain footage to be used in conjunction with the concocted fabricated story. In order to escalate the situation for maximum dramatic effect, Mr. Wilson even went to the extreme of placing his chair and his body (nearly twice the size of Star Jones) in a position where they would physically bar my ability from exiting my own office. At one point, Mr. Wilson even grabbed me around my waist, all of which placed me in great fear of my own safety. This was all witnessed by several members of my personal staff and the staff of Court TV compelling them to contact security to have Mr. Wilson and his team escorted from the premises. "

Note the "(nearly twice the size of Star Jones)" part. It switches from 1st person to third person. Didn't she mean - nearly twice the size of Star Jones, who lost a zillion pounds from eating right and exercising! Until of course, Star Jones needs some publicity. Then she comes clean.

39. How dare you take those kids money? You are a disgrace. Even if they didn't come up w/ the money, as a want to be "Role Model", you should have done it for them. Who the hell are you to say that you didn't get "the level" hotel that you requested. You are a no body. After the view, you should had a doctor "VIEW' your head. It's ugly people (inside and outside) like you that shouldn't even been born. Those little kids are probably heart broken that they worked for 1yr. to get the money that you asked for; to only be turned down.

44. The charity may have screwed up, but Star screwed up even more. This whole disaster could have been avoided if she had given back the plane ticket, and the $10,000, once she decided the event was a no-go. Star could have taken the high road, even if Full and Fabulous was under a stringent contractual obligation of her own design. The meaning of charity is obviously lost on Star Jones. Hopefully this non-celebrity will be exposed for what she really is, and will mercifully disappear from our TV screens faster than last season's American Idol finalists.
