A&E Still Making Money Off The Dog

A&E pulled Dog Chapman's show off the air, but that's not stopping the network from continuing to make a buck off the scandalized bounty hunter.
Ultimate Dog The Bounty Hunter DVD Collection
One can still visit the A&E web store and buy such delights as "Ultimate Dog The Bounty Hunter DVD Collection" -- for a mere $35.95. Arf. The collection includes such gems as the Dog's book, "You Can Run But You Can't Hide" and the Dog's favorite episodes, plus his charming wedding video.

The question is, who wants this stuff?

31. Dwayne " the racist " Chapman has always been prejudice,it took a tape
to reveal his true colors.I would watch his show and hear him say
" I got love for you bro " or " I want you to do right bro" It was all fake
just like those "Bowling Balls" Beth has on her chest.Where was that "Big
Breast Bandit" when that a-hole was spilling hIs guts?Oh yeah, her
nasty b***ch a*ss was trying to squeeze under a bed somewhere.DOG
whenever you need some more sheets to cover your head,go to the
dollar store. Also, make sure you buy a breast popper, to reduce the air
in Beth's t*ts.URA JOKE CHAPMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

32. Dog wouldn't be treated this way if he was black. Quite frankly it is time for this country to make a change. Someone needs to have the "eggs" to say if black people think its ok for them to say then I guess it's ok for everyone. Why are they special, don't you think their are racist black people against their own race. Oh but wait, black people call them sell outs don't they? I am sick to death of the whole civil rights crap. Your beating a dead dog. Until you start policing the punk rappers that say the "N" word and much worse I don't want to hear from you Jesse Jackson or anyother civil rights person! You love for people to get in trouble like Dog did because if they didn't then you would be out of a job. Also "cheer" that Imus is coming back and its ironic (and funny) that his comeback is costing the job of a civil rights person :) Why does nappy headed hoes have to refer to a black woman? Isn't that a little racist of them for thinking that, after all lots of women no adays have dreadlocks or braids. Look at Bo Derek :) in Ten. How presumptious of them. Get over it. I am sick of hearing about poor poor (punk druggie more like it) Rodney Kings of the world. Black people have a whole industry surrounded by making fun of crackers but for some reason we can't called it civil rights violation. Why can't I be proud of being white and have a WET (BET) Oh I know because its a double standard. They say don't single me out, don't treat me special but white people don't have to do that because black people do it to themselves.

33. Come on....give the guy A BREAK! hASN'T HE DEMONSTRATED OVER AND OVER THAT HE IS IMPERFECT BUT DEDICATED TO TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND BE A ROLE MODEL. I MYSELF WHEN ANGRY,KNOWING FULL WELL IT IS WRONG RESORT TO USING FILTHY LANGUAGE AND MEAN NOTHING BY IT. WHY ISN'T THE TERM WHITE TRASH, WHICH WE USE THE SAME AS THE N WORD MERELY DISCRIMINATING AGAINST THE LOW LIFES IN ANY RACE, A FORBIDDEN WORD FOR ANGLOS.....

34. Give Dog a Break!!! Dog is a human being that expressed his emotions to his son, a private conversation. He is a GOOD person, he is NOT racist! I am a HUGE Dog Fan, and I believe I know his character after much research and watching his show, reading his book, etc. He is someone that relates to black people and thought he could refer to them as if he was black (as he said on Hannity & Colmes interview), and he did not mean it in a derogatory way! I know he didn't and everything he has done so good in his life is being reduced to what happened in the heat of a very personal argument, all his good deeds are forgotten, he is a ROLE MODEL to me and I know he loves all people. I support Dog whole heartedly. A&E, PUT THE DOG BACK ON! Everyone. deserves a second chance, as he says to those he captures. His interview with H&C was a tear jerker. IN DOG I TRUST! My thoughts are with Dog and his family.

35. In all fairness, if A&E is going to pull the plug on this show over something he said in a private conversation , the other channels should follow. Won't that be great! There will be nothing on tv ever again! VH1 is still running Hogan Knows Best after Nicks arrest and blatant fault of the accident, including speeding and drinking. Does VH1 support and approve of that? Probably not. It's a catch 22. If ones does they should all do it. A&E really screwed this up, jumping on the politically correct bandwagon a little too soon. He said it in a private conversation, we have all said something at one time or another that probably would have offended someone somewhere if it was heard. He admited it, and said he was sorry. Time to move on from it. They shouldn't have pulled the show. I've heard "bitch" on network tv, should I be offended because I'm a woman and demand the show be pulled? . If this can happen I demand every rap album banned for having "bitch, honkey, whitey, etc" in it. .People need to lighten the hell up or have it apply to all. Sticks and stones....

37. They put enough into him. Who cares as long as he doesn't make any.

38. I SUPPORT DOG & HIS ADVERTISERS IF THEY KEEP HIM ON TV ..

A&E I DON'T SUPPORT AND WILL NEVER WATCH THEM AGAIN IF THEY DON'T KEEP HIS NEW SHOWS COIMING AND IF THEY DROP HIM

AND I LEAST OF ALL AM OFFENDED BY HIS LANGUAGE THAT WAS PERSONAL TO HIS HORRIFIC DRUGGED OUT CRIMINAL SON, AND PHONEY GIRLFRIEND WHO DID EXACTLY WHAT DOG SAID THEY WOULD ...THEY WERE ALREADY TAPING HIM

BRING THE DOG BACK A&E or you'll find out how many of us won't watch you. Notice that some stars we have put on the back burners have film's out with no one watching .. Ask Angelina Jolie when we didn't see her films how much the film company lost in $$

39. Hello freedom of speech! I do not agree with anything he said. I did not agree with Michael Richards or Don Imus either. But in this country there is freedom of speech even if you do not like what someone says. Why is it ok for rappers to say these things and it is not looked upon as bad or degrading to their own people. In this country there is a double standard as we all know. Not just with the N word either. A group of black people can torture, rape and murder a white couple in Tenn. BUT that is not considered a hate crime. But a group of white people torture a black women in W. VA and everyone wants them tried as racists and for hate crimes etc. How is it any different? Especially considering the couple from Tenn. was murdered and mutilated.

Ok excuse the rant. But I just wanted to get my point across that in this day and age there is a double standard. Oh and Don Imus is getting another radio show. Will the Dog? A&E are a disgrace for having the nerve to pull his show and yet they can sell the DVDs and stuff to make money.

Also his Son is disgusting for selling his dad out. Amazing what people on drugs will do to make money :(

40. Why do you think Dog is apologizing and making public appearances now. Its not because he is truly sorry for his racial remarks but because his big mouth has cost him a 2.1 million dollar a year job. Beth, Tim, Duane Lee Jr, Leeland and Baby Llysa need to remind him everyday for his contribution for putting them in with the 2.6% unemployed in Hawaii.

41. I will not watch A&E anymore if they do not put Dog the Bounty Hunter back on. Give me a break!, rappers spew all kinds of hateful words all in the name of entertainment and noone calls them on it. (My friend Bill O'Reilly does, thx Bill). Dog is doing a fantastic job and I LOVE him! I don't think people would want the public to hear their private conversations. Why are people all of a sudden so above him now? Like noone has ever said mean things or racist comments, yeah right. ....Keep your head up Dog!!!! Don't let them beat you down! Love to you and your family...there are many of us that support you totally!! We know you are not racist! LOVE YOU DOG! Smarten up A&E!

42. The Dog made a mistake ,but the good he and his family has done is so much more.
he has shown love were love is not given ,he instill's love in his family and gives hope to people that want to change for a better life.
To destory a man his family over this, would be the worst mistake.
I feel if the dog is going to be puished ,then we should all start making a very long list of entertainers of all races to puish them also.

TMZ- thank you for letting me add my words

43. I LOVE Dog! And I am proud to say that I have ALL 3 seasons on DVD, AND the wedding dvd...also, I have his book! Which by the way, is an awesome book. A must read. I proudly support him. LOVE YOU DOG!!!!!!!

44. A&E ... drop the whole line not just some of it .. hypocrits ! .

Posted at 2:52PM on Nov 7th 2007 by hmmm

45. Okay, I've got two things to say:

(1) except for Criss Angel, I am boycotting A&E till the Dog is returned to the air.

(2) Hey, TMZ......We are all taught from the Bible that only he who is without sin should cast the first stone. By continuing your attacks on Dog and his family, are you implying that you pass the test and are perfect? What would the world see if the light was cast on your actions.

Think about it.
