That globe-trotting loose cannon, Mel Gibson, has landed in Las Vegas -- and TMZ spotted him in the most unlikely of places ... nightclubs! The last temptation of Mel!

TMZ obtained this photo of Mr. Tirade himself, walking into one of Sin City's hottest clubs, PURE at Caesars Palace. Sources inside tell us that Gibson headed up to the VIP stage and had the shades drawn. Now that's ballin'! Mel was also peeped on Tuesday while checkin' the scene at another top-notch club, JET at the Mirage.

Mel sipped on Red Bull and water most of the time -- good thing for him, because he still has to appear at a DUI progress report in February.

We've also heard that Mel Gibson partied at Blush in the Wynn Hotel. Our spies tell us he had a private table and was spotted dancing with Eddie Murphy's ex-wife Nicole. Nice!

21. Let he or She who is with out problems in life or with out sin cast the first stone! I think a number of you out there would have maybe managed your billionaire lifestyle a lott worse then mel has! we all get stupid and dumb , from all sorts of bad information and dope and drugs and Lust and money! there thats pretty much 75% of the world i think! you bunch of know it all gossipping evil bad people need to think before you run off at the mouth! of course thats my opion! stop hating!

27. I agree with cochiese379 . . . you wthout sin can cast the first stone. Any man that uses his own money to create a movie about our saviour (and like it or not that is what Jesus is) is alright by me. Mel Gibson is not perfect and I am sure he has never claimed to be.

29. That idiot mel gibson is an unintelligent, uncultured, unmitigated ass and always has been. He has been just plain lucky he got as far as he did. I remember him when he was a teenager in upstate NY and he has always been an ass, as was his bigoted dumbass father who proclaims the Holocaust was fake. I am not Jewish, I am Irish Catholic and I am completely ashamed to have him and his slant-brained father call themselves Christians. I wonder if they also believe that the Armenian slauter by the Turks, and the Irish slauter by the British are also fakes. I guess that makes Gen. Eisenhower and all that were there to witness it all liars. My only hope is that dumb ass mel and his dumb ass father suffer as "little" as the Jews and many Catholics did in the nazi concentration camps. In fact I pray for it ! Get a life mel !

30. Did I miss something here? Is Mel separated from his wife or in the process of a divorce? If he's not, he's certainly acting like someone who is. It's not about the drinking...it's about his being out clubbing with anyone EXCEPT his wife and having his picture taken with all of these different women. He certainly went from A List after Passion of the Christ to the idiot bin. Wonder what the problem-o is? Midlife crisis perhaps? Or early onset of Alzheimers?
