Mel Gibson Hits Vegas: No Tequila Sunrise

That globe-trotting loose cannon, Mel Gibson, has landed in Las Vegas -- and TMZ spotted him in the most unlikely of places ... nightclubs! The last temptation of Mel!

TMZ obtained this photo of Mr. Tirade himself, walking into one of Sin City's hottest clubs, PURE at Caesars Palace. Sources inside tell us that Gibson headed up to the VIP stage and had the shades drawn. Now that's ballin'! Mel was also peeped on Tuesday while checkin' the scene at another top-notch club, JET at the Mirage.

Mel sipped on Red Bull and water most of the time -- good thing for him, because he still has to appear at a DUI progress report in February.

We've also heard that Mel Gibson partied at Blush in the Wynn Hotel. Our spies tell us he had a private table and was spotted dancing with Eddie Murphy's ex-wife Nicole. Nice!

46. I love all his movies. He is an actor. I don't care about anything he believes or doesn't believe. He is a GREAT actor. If we dug in your life have you ever said anything you regret or that someone else might take offensive? I am sure you have. We are human. Thats how life goes, get over it and out of his life. Imagine cameras on you 24/7. That can't be fun. But I also think that people are only in the tabloids when they put them selves there.

47. Yeah, kiki,

As you said, he never said "he didn't believe the Holocaust never happened"...and that was about all he could drum to say about it without diverting the issue elsewhere - which says even more about his views on the Holocaust.

As I said I haven't seen his wife, obviously you have ---- nor does it matter to me what she looks like, not sure why it would. My point which you obviously didn't get, is that of all the pics I've seen of him with women - all have been with other women. I also haven't gone out of my way to notice Gibson - I was never a big fan of his to begin with, nor wanted to spend time watching him at any events. I have looked at pictures of him when they are shown in the news for one reason or another. I also don't need to know his wife, or what she looks like, to know about Gibson and to form my own opinions about him, which I have. I've watched his career and news coverage of him since he was much younger - spanning over 20 yrs.

And I'm sure you're correct that his wife was pictured with him on the red carpet, as I would expect to have happened since it's a profile event that I doubt he's going to be seen hanging all over other women. And his wife would naturally be there. Likewise, there are probably other shots of her as well. However, all of the photos I've seen so far - over the yrs, of Gibson with women - none were reported as his wife, including the 2 strangers he was boozing with the night he got arrested. Who incidentally, reported that he was very nice to them, but admitted that his wife didn't know he was there.....and that she was a such a wonderful person and he didn't deserve her. As for reading info. with fact's...where do you get off assuming you know what I have and haven't read - because you idiot. FYI the news reports that i have read that I was referring to -- spanning many yrs. about Gibson's drinking and womanizing were reported from legitimate news companies. Now if you have a problem with their facts, maybe you should start making stupid assumptions with them instead. And speaking of sad...it is very sad that Gibson has a wife and 8 kids and has been fooling around on his wife. Speaking of his marriage, it was reported, a long time ago --- in the general news, not the tabloids, that he almost lost his wife due to his behavior -- but admitted he had a problem even then, and agreed to work on his sobriety. Now if you're not old enough to remember that news, or you didn't bother to hear it in the news at the time....check your own facts kiki. Because I am old enough to remember. And if Gibson is a smart man, who truly values his wife, then I would hope for her sake, that he does not repeat his mistakes.

"I've seen you on these Blog's many times and mostly alway's negitive" LOL is that suppose to worry me? Because it doesn't, I'll say whatever I want whether you find it negative or not.

48. I believe we have no right in judging mel gibson, most of us don't even know him personally, only what we hear on the news, magazines, etc.... He has made a very honest movie about jesus and his mercy towards others. I think we need to start understanding what his movie was about and from what i saw it was about love and forgiveness and god's unimaginable grace toward us sinners, Maybe its time we chose not to judge each other and love each other live jesus loves us. we all fall short of the glory of god "even a movie star" no human being will ever be perfect, God just wants us to be who we are and to know his love is there if we can bring ourselves to accept it and with the passion of the christ mel brought a vision to what many of us sinners needed to see like"you who have no sin cast the first stone" jesus said this and nobody i know could cast a stone especially myself so why do we judge so cruely others we don't even know? I pray for mel and for all who judge him and judge anyone we are not here to judge we are here to love as god loves us. Judging is gods job and i certaintly don't want to dislike others for sins they have done or there would be nobody to like or love in this world, we all fall short and mel gibson is a human being like all of us. Revenge is mine says the lord, and i don't want the lords job because i have no right as a sinner to think i could even compare myself to him. Hopefully we can learn from mels movie, I do believe "passion" or "compassion" was the message i recieved from it. Just love each other and don't hate it takes to much from us and spreads like cancer though our hearts and doesn't leave any room for the love god wants us to have. love as he loves us don't let hatred ruin your lives because i have and it's left me so angry and dysfunctional with my own family and friends it's not worth the effort, but love comes easy because it comes from god. so let go and let god. Of all the commandments he gave us it says the greatest of them all is love.

49. So if this is a sin, what is the rest of the stuff you place on this site? Probably Hell itself and all of it's demons. Right? Leave Mel alone. Can't he go to Las Vegas? Or, should he be left on his knees all day long? Come on....

50. I think Mel should spend more time with his wife and kids.
He's too smart and old to be acting like this.
Good luck to you, Mel.
Hope you get help soon.
You, my friend, are in denial.

52. I think it's sad that a man has so many kids and, a wife that has stuck through things with him all these years it going thru such a full blown mid life crisis in front of everyone. Get into your family life and stay on the ground. Feel sorry for him and, it's hard with people in limelight every thing you do is so blown up. He should just keep with family and, not get mixed up with his roles he plays........

53. Isnt he a good Catholic MARRIED man? What a holier than thou hypocrit.

54. Thought Mel was a devout christian. Where is his wife, while he is partying and dancing with other women? Hmmmm............

55. Mel should not be skewered for visiting a club for an hour nor relegated to a rocker because he's 51. How absurd. Sites state he has been married for 27 years, has seven children and one grandchild. Whatever arrangement he and his wife have works for them; who among you has been married that long? He is in the industry, and keeps in circulation, and she doesn't have to go if she doesn't care to. Those who have a problem with this billionaire (or almost, I'm not up on what he has but very close) doing what he wants ought to perhaps get off here and get busy, because Mel hs left the majority of us in the dust, personally and professionally due to his consistent excellence in everything he does. He is also a victim of character assassination, as he has NEVER denied the holocaust, and erroneous conclusions have been widely drawn from statements of his, all of which I've read verbatim, and nowhere does he deny the holocaust, so that is just plain wrong. He only questions the historical accuracy of the numbers that died in those camps. He should NOT be persecuted for wanting historical accuracy; true historians would commend his dry and rational and yes, neutral wish for fact and perpetuity to accurately reflect actual, researched and bonafide numbers rather than sentimental fantasy spin in order for history to pay those horrid occurances the proper due respect with no question. From his movies, all can understand that Mel Gibson has a fascination with history, and takes great pains to correctly recreate the past as accurately as possible; (and that is a part of what makes his movies so strikingly good) and so this prediliction of Gibson to want facts should not be surprising, should not be turned into smoke and mirrors persecution by people with some king of agenda, but should instead be intelligently understood and even expected by those who respect history in all of its gore and glory.
Publicly, and for decades, Mel Gibson has proven himself to be intelligent bordering on brilliance, discerning, quick witted, and respectfully humble where warranted. Thus I feel that any attempt to vilify this man who brings excellence to everything he's touched must be closely scrutinized.

56. Damn, I wish my husband looked as good as Mel does. He still got it. Boo hoo to all you Mel haters. He's a talent and he's just getting better and better with age. You can have all your young pretty boys, I'll take Mel any day.

57. Mr. Tirade? now is it ok for TMZ to hound, put out false information, and call Mel Mr. Tirade but not ok, for Mel, while intoxicated, mis spoke but got crucified??!! Just checked and yes, Jet is not open on Tuesdays!!! So to all of you working for Harvey Levin at TMZ get your FACTS STRAIGHT!!! and then STOP it already. Can't you see that regardless of what trash you print and dig on Mel it doesn't matter. The Non-American world LOVE Mel, and his fans in the U.S have and will always continue to stand behind him. How would Harvey Levin like it if he was filmed itching his balls, picking his nose or anything else that celebrities who are people too do also. No. I don't agree with his on going stupid comment that celebrities give up their rights as individuals when they step into the lime light as its the people who put them there - Let me tell you LOVE COMES WITH RESPECT. IF MOST OF AMERICA AND THE WORLD DIDN'T RESPECT MEL, THEY WOULDN'T LOVE HIM EITHER, BUT GUESS WHAT TMZ WE STILL LOVE AND ADORE MEL.!!! I wish George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Russell Crow, Mel Gibson and a few other heavy weights in Hollywood fight back enough and close down TMZ for good!!!

58. Mel's tipsy outburst came on the heels of his making the Passion of the Christ, during which it is rumoured he encountered a huge wall of critical and almost fanatical backlash from the Jewish quarter at some of his artistic vision, and some of it seemingly more hardline than rational to an outsider. Some writer stated (and this sounds racist in and of itself to me) 'and add to the mix that Catholic Mel does rich better than most of the Semetic quarter,' and you have a recipe for instant kvetching as people lined up to bring him down a peg or two as flawed human beings are prone to do. His very politically incorrect verbal swipe at the Jewish quarter in the Sherrif's report or whatever wasn't his best day, but he did have some really irritating back history gnawing at him when it popped out of his inebriated mouth.
He was truly sorry, and made his sincere amends when the light of day hit his probably hungover butt.
Thus I don't think by definition that the facts support Mel being a 'racist.' Pissed off at the time for professional reasons, perhaps, but a racist? Not when considering his overall history and the prompt and humble way with which he dealt with it. The KKK, now that's definitive racism. No comparison between the two, IMHO.

59. Mel was probably in Vegas because his son-in-law was performing at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel over the weekend. Just because he wasn't photographed with his wife and/or family, doesn't mean they weren't there with him. The media only wants to report the most outrageous story - whether it is true or not. Why don't you do more research before publishing such garbage.
