Nick Hogan Charged with Reckless Driving

Clearwater, Fla. Police have arrested Nick Hogan on charges of felony reckless driving involving serious bodily injury.

He turned himself in to Clearwater Police this morning and is currently being booked in to the Pinellas County Jail.

Hogan was involved in a one-car crash in August that severely injured his friend, John Graziano. John has severe brain injuries and will likely require specialized care for the rest of his life.

47. I think its sad ...Two families are ripped at the seams due to 2 young men making 2 really stupid choices .Nick should have told John to put the seatbelt on ,yet John should have put it on without being told .Then Nick chooses to "race" a rogue vehical and crashes !!!
I think it is sad that it happened period ,I wouldn't want to be either parent or child in this situation ....

48. My heart absolutely bleeds for the Graziano family... To think you have a young, healthy perfect son, and now he's practically gone. That really saddens me.

Even if they get all the money the Hogan/Boellas have, that doesn't make up for the fact that they've truly lost their son. I couldn't imagine sitting there looking at my son like that. I pray that by the grace of God he makes a speedy recovery.

49. NICK HOGAN: I AM A SUPER DOUCHE YEAH BAYBAY!!!! CHECK OUT MY SUPER DOUCHE CAPABILITIES! I CAN PUT HUMAN BEINGS INTO VEGETATIVE STATE WITH MY SUPREME DOUCHE DRIVING SKILLZ!! DO NEVER TEST THE DOUCHE!

50. I find it out of line for Nick, his family, and all his people to only focus on the fact that John was not wearing his seatbelt. Yes he maybe should have been, but that is not what caused the crash. Nick thinking that he can drive at crazy speeds and lost control is what caused it. Take responsibility and stop blaming it on your friend who will be strapped to a bed forever.

51. Did anyone else notice they alluded to the fact that John wasnt wearing a seatbelt?? So its his fault that Nick was excessively speeding and he was thrown from the car?? That poor boy will be a vegetable for the rest of his life because of Nick Hogans reckless disregard for the speed limit. I thank God it was a one car accident. If they had hit someone at that rate of speed, everyone would have probably been killed. Sad situation for everyone involved.

52. Wow,, I cannot believe all the comments stating: "It's about time"
all the comments stating spoiled rich kid etc,,,
the facts are,, Nick was a minor at the time of accident,, wearing his seatbelt,, the adult passenger did not wear his seat belt,, they were great friends as well,
I'm sure Nick loves his dear friend and would never wish harm on him.. it was an accident! and does not matter how much money Nick's family has,, an accident is an accident!!
I grew up in a small town where kids always drove fast,, even the cops kids,, and they always had accidents,, but did not serve jail time for the injuries passengers received in the car crashes,, it's very sad to see people hurt from speeding,,
but I do not feel Nick should serve jail time,,
he will live with this guilt the rest of his life and that is enough!!
you lynch mob people are nuts!! and sad!!!
you would hang all the rich kids that made a mistake,,
sad sad sad!!!

53. I am certain they are disappointed that their son has to face charges, as they thought he would whistle as he walked away. I don't hear how devastated they feel over the IRREVERSABLE HARM CAUSED TO ANOTHER PERSON. Only when they are AFFECTED by the consequences of their harmful action, due they acknowledge the incident. The entire family are SKANKS.

55. Since I live in Clearwater, I'm privy to more information than has been posted onTMZ. If you are interested in knowing what has happened during the past month with the Guardianship for John, etc., Google the St. Petersburg Times, then do a seach for John Graziano. On top of this tragedy of John's injuries, his parents are in a very bitter fight wth one another for his guardianship (due to their separation) , because of the upcoming filing of a substantial lawsuit. This is a terrible tragedy on so many levels. Fortunately though, I hope a Judge will do the proper thing and do something with Nick before he harms another human being.

56. 46. The Hogan's are in denial. They think their kids are perfect and innocent. Like they are not drinking and having sex!! Nick had several chances and Terry and Linda continued to let him get away with speeding. His friend's life is Over. He will live a life worse than death being a vegetable. The Hogans have not come out with an apology or sorrow. They are trying to pay off the family instead. My God Dog the Bounty Hunter is more sorry for saying the N word than Nick is for paralyzing his best friend. Pay back is a bitch and they will pay in the end!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why exactly should a public apology be made ?What proof do you have that their paying off Graziano's family ?What family would agree to be paid off for such a thing ?Shooky ,me thinks you should put that alluminun hat back on now -I heard the aliens say their coming for you next .....
58. Everyone keeps saying that because the family has money he has not gotton in trouble yet, I don't beleive that is true. A family member of mine hit a telephone pole with her 8 & 5 year old girls in the car. The 8 year old did not have her seat belt on a suffered a fractured skull and some brain injuies. The peramedics on scene said she was very close to death. She was in a coma and had part of her skull removed and will soon have another surgery to put that part of her skull back in. Thank god she is going to make a full recovery. The driver recevied a ticket for not having her child seatbelted, accidents happen and people get hurt. It is a terrible thing for anyone to be injuried. But the facts are everyone drives fast at one time or another so to pass judgement on someone for something that could have happened to anyone is just wrong.
59. I just thought of this.. and it makes sense.
Nick can't drive or regular roads, can't drive on a race track, and sure as heck can't wrestle! So this kid is living a lie.
No talent...no brains..no education!!! if that is what home schooling does to kids, when you have someone teaching you, who doesn't know what they are doing???
end result,, he's dumd as dirt. I think the whole "bollea" fmily is a bunch of over arrogant, self absorbed, jerks!!!! Brooke can't carry a tune in a bucket. Hulk can't act and he sure can't do t.v. braodcasting! hence ruining the "New" American Gladiators. 2008!
I say that now because if all else fails, someone will get a new host if nick gets put in Jail.
And for the last time, VH1 cancel hogan knows (Squat) and pull the dvd's too!
60. I'm sure SOMEONE has said it....but lets be real. Do you think this passenger who now has brain damage was sitting in the passenger seat yelling "Stop! Obey the Law, Don't speed, Let me out of this car right now"
He might not have been driving, but he's surely just as responsible for putting himself in the position he is as the driver so why punish the driver so much? lets be real here and not look for a scapegoat.
