96. A & E will find a way to 'forgive' Dog since he's their #1 show.

This ordeal for Dog will end with a nice fat new contract and an obligatory statement from A & E. I'm no fan of Dog's but did see his CNN interview last night. Call me naive, but the guy seemed sincerely sorry and believe me, I was looking for a reason not to buy his apology.

Re the racist charge, no don't see it.
Now, if those same words came out of Mel Gibson's mouth, I'd believe they came straight from the heart.

The National Enquirer comes out looking like the pigs they are -- that part was exceptionally well-worth the hour interview.

98. This man IS RUFF but not evil, many of us out of anger will say hateful things to hurt the other person but deep down DON'T REALLY MEAN what they say. This was a bad moment between a private confrontation between a son and an dissapointed angry father.

If I was DOG i woul have just let the 'unloyal' son go to het a job somewhere, grow up and be responsible for his life, his son is an ungrateful grown man. LET HIM GO DOG, LET HIM GO AND DATE AND DO WHATEVER HE WANTS.

I LIKE THE DOG! , feel bad for him HIS OWN REBELLIOUS VINDICTIVE SON SOLD HIS OWN FATHER FOR $ 15,000, WHAT A 'JUDAS' OF A SON HE IS.

101. I'm stiill pissed that my kids, who were fans of his, are pissed (disenchanted) about this. The world they're growing-up in is a lot scarier and more hostile than the one I grew-up in, and they have fewer public figures to look-up to. The reactions of kids are usually more spot-on and genuine than us grown-ups because they don't perceive things with the baggage we carry via life experience and/or overthink things.

Even if he gets his show back or starts one with a different network, the damage is done; sometimes it just is what it is.
