Christopher Plummer did a radio promo tour for his new flick, "Man in the Chair" this morning -- but left "The Walton & Johnson Show" in Houston with nothing but a dial tone. The nerve!

We're also told he did this to several other stations. Note to entertainment reporters worldwide -- if Plummer sends you a screener, you bettah watch it!

31. Yeh Ann and I bet you still do the mailman too.

Have any of you ever listened to the show before?
Don't blame them if another Hollywood selfloving prick is to arogant to get whats going on!

32. The Walton and Johnson Show is one of the finest radio programs in the country. W & J were trying to get Mr. Plummer to elaborate about his new movie.

I didn't know it was a prerequisite for anyone doing an interview to actually watch the movie. It might be a good idea to do so, but Plummer's Hollywood arrogance and pompousness was clearly evident. I back W & J 100%!!!

33. OH, please, 28 & 29. Quit excusing their poor behaviour. Who cares what their 'show' is.
It's obviously nothing substantial, and thus if you're defending them, ergo...

34. The guys (W&J) just asked a question and the old tard couldn't answer it for them. I guess promoting your new movie is not important. And I guess Chris is just too busy to waste his time answering questions.

Or maybe he's just a crotchety old geezer and he wants us all to "get of his lawn"!!

How sad is that!

The Radio Gawds are all about humor. And it is only two guys doing 5-6 characters. So the guy trying to sound like a woman is actually, a "gay" character on the show. If you don't listen to them regularly then you will not "get" the show. So you might as well put your head back in the sand and just forget about them and what they do. It's OK you not alone, there are a lot of others in your 90% bracket that don't get it either. Your not supposed too!

35. Plummer is a typical self-important idiot. He is a perfect candidate for the Howard Stern "and who are you exactly?" Few people know who he is. He peaked with the Sound of Music and is irrelevant destined to die alone and cranky in a SAG nursing home after his nurse steals his (not so great) fortune. Pathetic, but funny.

36. If you're not a Ten Percenter you'll never catch it..
I HATED Walton & Johnson after they replaced the survivors of the Stevens and Pruett Show... after listening a coupla days, they just sorta grew on me..
They take no prisoners, they make no apologies... WYHIWYG!
They're not for the Meek or the Politically Correct Liberal Wimps..
It's good some of you don't get it...
Don't want to know you..

39. What just happened. The man calls in to talk about his movie and when asked about he hangs up. He was just calling in to be praised and expected people to tell him how great his movie is.

Why not have a conversation about the movie and explain things like: Why did you make it? What is the point you trying to make in this movie?

Don't act like you are 12 years old and make yourself look foolish.

43. just because they asked him what the movie was about didn't mean they didn't know what the movie was about already they were probably asking him that so he could explain it to the listeners buddy just couldn't stand that his movie is not very big deal....

44. He's there to promote the movie not to quiz the hosts of the show. What arrogance on his part or is he act this way to everyone. I blame his PR people. They should have said "Christopher will expect you to have watched the entire movie - if you're not willing to do that then there will be no interview." To cut an interview short like that is rude.
As for Walton and Johnson - they're an acquired taste. As for shock jocks they're not - quite the opposite really. They humor and satire to express their opinion but never in a rude or mean way.

45. I listened to the show when Mr. Plummer was on. The people that say the DJ's need to do their homework are wrong. You are saying they cannot interview an actor, who's PR people asked that Mr. Plummer be on the show, if they have not seen their most resent movie; we not talking about some "I have a dream" speech that is of historical importance. They did have their notes on Mr. Plummer, they knew is background and his acting career. They knew that he did not want to talk about anything to do with "The Sound of Music". He ended the call when he asked if they had watched the new movie and they said no. Their job is not to watch movies and then tell the guest about it or how much they enjoyed it, it is to ask questions so the guest can explain a storyline or talk in general about any topic.
