74. Unlike 95 percent of the "politically correct" population out there, I strongly disagree with women tennis players being paid the same amount as the men for a very good reason! The ladies don't play as much as the men!
Why should women tennis players get the same check that the men do when women only have to play best of 3 matches and men have to play best of 5???
If the answer is that womens bodies physically can not handle the rigours of multiple best of 5 matches then obviously they should not be paid the same amount. If womens bodies CAN handle all of the best of 5 matches in the tournaments, THEN AND ONLY THEN should they get (and deservedly so) the same amount.
Of course the pay scale should be equal....IF equal work is performed!
