33. Whitney found out the hard way that "crack is wack." She is another shining example of how a lack of self-esteem and self-love can ruin your life. If you behave as if you believe you are lower than doo-doo, then it doesn't take long for flies like Bobby Brown to come buzzing around. Whitney's once golden voice has been permanently reduced to a tired, hoarse croak. Her once beautiful face is now a runover leather purse left out in the desert. Don't blame Bobby; blame Whitney. She made some real dumb-ass choices. Her story is just as sickening and embarrassing as Elvis Presley's. I'm so sad right now...I feel like I wanna dance with somebody...

37. I'll believe the so called "comeback" when I see it. She was the "elder" in her marriage and relationship with Bobby Brown. Who knows who set whom off in their crazy antics.
Why just blame BB? She is related to Dionne Warwick ya know?

She was certainly having a grand old time during their reality show. Didn't look like she was on crack to me. Oh yeah, she's a DIVA, and not in a good way. You know, the nasty, mean type of DIVA.

38. I'm laughing at all the negative comments, but the funny thing is her life mirrored Britney's. They both married garbage for husband, they both lost their careers after the marriage, they both got on drugs, they both had kids or kid by their losers, both divorced their losers. But the difference is unlike Whitney, Britney really can't sing, but the media is white and they love blond hair (bottled or real). After her divorce, Whitney didn't act like a nutcase and start treating her child like throwaway trash. Britney did and the media just love to follow her day in and day out. I'm way more impressed with Whitney's recovery than Britney half-ass attempt at trying to better her life!!!

39. Lenn K #37 -- no, your analogy doesn't work. Britney is 25, Whitney 44. Britney has never admitted to nor been charged with taking drugs; Whitney has admitted to it. Britney is 3 years Younger than her ex hub, Whitney is 6 l/2 yrs Older than her ex.

I'm sure the "white" media loved Whitney just as much as Britney because Ms. Houston has also had blonde hair during the course of her career.

As far as treating her child like throwaway trash, what the heck do you call that dispicable reality show where Whitney constantly showcased that child, while Whit was, shall we say, a tad high? I'll give you a point for the singing, Whitney does have the pipes.

Sorry, someone 25 vs 44, no contest. One really SHOULD know better by the time they reach their forties. And, by the way, I'm not a Brit fan. Used to like Whitney, but, I think she still needs help.

41. I've never seen a sick celeb receive so many offers of help; not even Britney comes close to the outpouring of offers Whitney received.

She may be a good singer but the woman has had one thing going against her even before she got hooked on crack - a diva personality and ugly disposition. I think she needs a major overhaul starting with attitude adjustment and one of things she needs to do is stop lying to herself and everybody else.

Oh yeah...
And give thanks to her fans her practically held 24/7 vigils when the news was claiming she wasn't going to make it.

43. #39 - For Sure, you're missing the point, ages has nothing to do with it. If you kill someone at 25 or at 44 it still murder. I not saying there isn't some kind of differences, but my points are simple they both dealt with men and situations that are pretty close to the same, I know that Britney is only 25 years old, but the media has yet to take a look at how simular there situations were. I'm not a big fan of Whitney right now or Britney ever, but I feel that no matter what you say about Whitney, one thing is she can sing.

44. Whitney has a most beautiful voice. She should take this beautiful voice and use it to Glorify our Lord and Master. I will continue to pray that God will give her his strength to get away from Bobby. He has never been good for her and though she made mistakes with Bobby, God can move that mountain in her path. Keep your eyes on Jesus Whitney and your voice that he has given you to glorify the Almighty, he will use you in a mighty way.

Thanks, no thanks. I like my diva's at least GRATEFUL and definitely not looking like a zombie. (Take that hat and wig off Whitney, what you have is downright scary. She can sing? Even that is up for debate anymore.)
