Garth Brooks Will Give It to Anyone

Little old ladies, soccer moms, even stalkerish leather-jacketed cowboys -- everyone has a chance with Garth Brooks!

Cameras caught Chris Gaines' alter-ego leaving the Capital Records, going out of his way to hug, sign and pose for pictures with every last Brook fanatic waiting by his escape vehicle. Nice.

31. I'm not a country fan at all, but I have ALWAYS had the hugest crush on this man. He's amazing.... My only dream would be to be outside some studio while he was handing out hugs & autographs. *sigh*

32. I have been a Garth fan since he first started recording, I think he is still the best country singer out there.

33. I don't remember well because I was a pre-teen when his hits were big, but before he got with Trisha weren't there some domestic violence spats with his first wife? I remember my mom saying something about Garth beating his wife...and then, of course, he left his first wife after he got famous, like they all do. I think you can probably be nice to fans and still not have it all together in your personal life..

35. Isn't he like 5'2" or something?

Talk around here is his who-who is as big as his head.......

Is that why Trisha always has that dumb grin on her face?

36. Long ago I heard that before he became famous, he worked as a bouncer at a country bar. One night he was trying to bounce a young woman for some infraction -- she retaliated and beat him with her fists. Eventually they made up and became husband and wife. She was the controlling type. Duh!

While on the road -- he met Trisha Yearwood. Trish, his true love, is now his wife.

37. He always has attempted to be "the good guy", when in reality he is a cheater who left his family for Trisha Yearwood. He is a home wrecker.

38. Hey Green eyed get ur facts straight..Garth cheated once while on tour several years ago..he told Sandy and she forgave him..he in return wrote the song Shameless an apology to her...he was divorced quite awhile before Trisha Yearwood....Sandy actually was getting busy with her stable hand before the divorce was final...U wish u had a man like Garth..we all do...I LUV U GARTH!!....

39. To the person who went off on a tangent about Garth 'cheating' on his ex-wife and kids involved, yada yada yada. You really should get the story straight. Man if I had been married to his ex-wife I would not have married her, they say the heart is stronger than the brain.

41. Garth Brooks is the epitome of the definition of a "man". He is a God-fearing, humble, respectful boy from Oklahoma who any celebrity in Hollywood could certainly learn from.

44. Hey #39 get YOUR facts straight. Garth did not write "Shameless" it is an old Billy
Joel Song, one of the idols he mentioned, at the concert I attended here in KC,that he had growing up as a kid.

45.
Dear Mr. Brooks,

I’d like to share with you a story regarding your concert in Kansas City!

My 23 yr old daughter and her husband was dying to see you in concert. She asked me to try to get tickets for them online. The day the tickets went on sale I tried and tried to get online to order tickets! NO LUCK! But wait, WOW! I managed to buy 6 tickets from an online agency called TicketsNow. I was so excited! With 6 tickets I could go and take my husband, daughter, son-in-law and my other daughter and her friend! Well, that excitement did not last long when TicketsNow informed me that they charged my credit card $2,580.00. We called them and was informed all sales are final. We contacted our credit card company to stop payment. Again, all sales are final! Needless to say, I thought my husband was going to have a heart attack!

We ended up selling 4 tickets back to TicketsNow for $860.00. We sold 2 tickets on eBay for $350.00. We now are in the hole $1,370.40. Because we had to resale the tickets we did not get to go to the concert!

So, we still have to pay $1,370.40 for NOTHING! I know that may not be a lot to you. But, to a family in Kansas with 7 children and 4 grandchildren that is a lot of money. That sure has put a damper on our Christmas shopping (and my marriage, husband still mad).

I know you have no control over the sales of your concert tickets. I am not blaming you for this. I can only blame myself!

I heard the concert was THE BEST! Sorry I did not get to see it!

Sincerely,

Rachelle Nebergall
