Writers Guild Endures a Bad Rap
If this WGA supporter is any indication, the strike could go on for a looooooong time. They'll also have to survive this guy.

3. OMG I know this guy.
I live behind the orange curtain and work in the industry. He lived/lives is Seal Beach. I've seen him listening to an iPod; singing and dancing on the corners of PCH from Seal Beach to as far south as San Clemente. I never thought he'd head north.
I take that back. Actually a few years back I received a headshot from him for a project I was working on. So heading North was a given.
The WGA strike is a very serious matter. And unfortunately even though the picketing members of the WGA wanted to get him out of there (I'm sure the TMZ employee on scene will vouch) nobody wanted to confront him because he's huge and mix that with an unstable personality... that spells trouble.
In closing however, I'm glad to see he finally got his 15 minutes of fame on TMZ. Consider him a present from the OC to LA. Enjoy!
Pray for an end to the strike! Christmas is just around the corner! Do it for the families!

7.
People like us are being laid off right now and worried about their bills getting paid, All because writers are asking for a small percentage of our money, Money from DVD sales the producers and people at the top share.
With out writers much of the entertainment industry is silent. Give them a damn fair percentage and lets get people back to work.

9. Why is everyone feeling so sorry for the Writers? What about all the other tons of people who cant work now either because the Writers are out? They're not all the Jay Lenos of the Business. How many Writers does it take to Produce something vs. how many other Production and behind the scences people are out now too?
For every single writer for a show there are probably 10 other people who are not Writers who cant get a paycheck now.
Yeah I'd pray for a quick end too, not for just the Writers who are getting all the Glory and Sympathy, but all the non writers and families associated with this thing who look to those shows for their livelihood too.

10. That guy reminds me of the goof standing behind OJ"s lawyer when he got released in Vegas. The one wearing the hat that said "I love famous people". Didnt make a good showing for OJ"s lawyer who was trying to be serious. And this goof doesnt make a good showing for taking the Writers Strike seriously. Makes Middle America think its some kind of Fruits, Weirdos. and CrackPot Organization.
Glad he didnt stay long and do hope he doesnt make another appearance carrying a Strike Sign. Sends the wrong Image, even if he isnt connected in any way with the Cause.
Either was the "I love famous people" nut.

This crap isn't funny, AOL has a interest in making light of this situation with the writters strike. They own alot of those DVD rights don't they?
I am not buying anything, DVD, Movies / TV shows online until the writers get a cut. Christmas is coming, If those in lower paying jobs have to suffer then so should the greedy higher up. It may not make a diffrence, But at least it's trying.

12. Anyone think the producers sent this guy out there to make the writers look bad?
And ditto to the person who commented that the folks at UCLA must be so proud.

14. Personally, I could not care less if the writers are on strike until the end of next year.
Most of what's on the tube is crap! If they were so freaking worried about feeding their families then they would keep working like everyone else in the world and quit whining!
I really think it would be funny if the strike when on for quite some time - trust me the publice would find other things to do with their time, there's so much more to life than watching the BOOB TUBE but most people just get lazy and won't venture out of their little boxes.
