46. Life is all about choices, and she obviously made a bad one.

This is no different from someone who overdoses on drugs or a wrestler who abuses them.

She has no one to blame but herself.

47. It's awful. But he's not blameless in this. Using his muscle all this time harking after the Great White Bigot instead of his dear mother's failing health. That goofy N word crusade and other silliness has to end black folks. And focus your inertia on what's really making you disappear. Astonishing rates of incarceration, propensities for drug addiction, stranger on stranger conflict, and shocking pre-mature death. And don't send me a bunch of dumb hate mail. I don't read it...

49. And to JC, I am glad you feel like this is a situation where people should lighten up! I pray that people show love and kindness to you if something like this were to happen to you. And what is meant for fun is definitely coming across as evil. These are cruel words that last forever and you can't take back what you say. What if those family member read this site. It is not right some of the things that are being said in reference to the deceased. Have a Truly Blessed Day!

53. "Turn to your music in your time of need" translates to "I'm tired of all the stuff I'm listening to right now, could you not waste a lot of time on mourning your dead mom and get back in the studio?"

Wow, you're pretty mean!

54. I usually tune out when I see anything written about Kanye West, but his mother's passing is so very sad. She was his defender, his supporter and his biggest fan, and anyone with a great mom can understand the pain in his loss. My thoughts are with him and his fiance and family.

This is not the first time and will not be the last. PLEASE people, just because you have all the $$$ and can do anything you feel you are big and bad to do, use common sense. This has happened to other prominent Hollywood folks and others we do not know. I pray she rests in peace and others learn from it. To her son, speak on this issue...

57. This is a sad moment for Kanye, family & friends! May she rest in peace & may Kanye continue to do what he does and a good job at it! She worked really hard as a single parent & became a Doctor, who would not be proud of her? Kanye has already suffered a tragic traffic accident in the past where he almost lost his life too!
Stay strong Kanye & she will always be remembered as a strong powerful black Queen that raised a brilliant Prince all by herself & beat all odds.

58. At least this has (temporarily) pushed Britney off of TMZ. Way to take one for the team Mrs. West.
