Evidence of When Kanye's Mom Died

Sources have confirmed to TMZ that Donda West, rapper Kanye West's mother, may have died either on the operating table or shortly after the procedure while in a recovery room.

Here's what we know: Sources tell us several months ago, West was scheduled for cosmetic surgery and she had been booked at Le Palais Chantique in Century City, a posh, hotel-like recovery center. We're told West postponed the surgery and therefore never showed up at Chantique.

There are two high-end recovery centers in L.A.; Chantique and Serenity in Santa Monica. TMZ has confirmed West was not taken to either facility this weekend.

If the fatal mishap was the result of a cosmetic surgery procedure, we're told the likelihood is that the complication arose either on the operating table or in the recovery room. The critical time things typically go wrong is in the first two hours after surgery.

This tragedy could be used in positive way such as educating our youth that plastic surgery is not a trend and not something simple but it could result in death. While you are right that a root canal can also prove deadly, a root canal is a medically necessary procedure where as cosmetic surgery is not. It is a shame someone as intelligent as Ms. West would fall victim to America's obession of youth and beauty with such tragic consequences.

32. I live near centinela marina hospital, they dont do cosmetic surgery there, it's more of family doctors, general practitioners, and an emergency hospital only. So, she was someplace else, and brought to the MDR hospital, or it was not surgery related.

36. My heart and my prayers go out to the entire West Family. I cannot imagine how deep his pain is. I pray that he stays strong, and continue to live as if his Mother was still right by his side.

37. Unless you have lost your Mother only one can speculate how it feels. I lost my Mother a month and a half ago so I know EXACTLY how Kanye feels. My Mother and I were very close like Kayne and his Mother. When I heard the news I wept for him knowing that he will forever be changed. You must learn a new way of life and living with out that person who gave you your life. They say time heals all wounds, cherish the memories and never let their spirit die. My deepest condolence goes out to the West family.

40. I am sorry for his loss. There should be accountability at the facility where she had surgery. There have been precautions. It's hard to believe that a minor medical procedure caused so much damage. I have been a victim of medical neglect myself, and understand how devestating that it can be. My thoughts go out to he , and the remainder of his family.

This is to the Gravedigger and say what say what idiots the fact that you would make comments like that over somone losing their mother only shows you for the sorry excuses for human beings that you are!!! and to saywhat saywhat character you could be a physician or anything else you said that you could be, but after the deplorable comments you made no matter what you have you would still be a no class loser from the inside and out!!! Look at someone close to you,and see how you would feel if that person died, and someone made cruel comments like that about your family member while you are in mourning. 45. The Lord is always with us especially in times of trouble.

I am very close to my mom and it doesn't matter what the cause will be that takes her from this planet, it wil still hurt more than anything I've ever felt before.

My prayers and thoughts are with Kanye and his family and I'm not even a fan :o), just a human being that cares about other human beings.

Let's not judge his mom's decision to do whatever it what she was doing. People have done worse and lived.
