Jacko -- Backo Against Wall in Neverland Default!

When news broke last week that Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch was in foreclosure, his rep was quick to slam the reports, proclaiming that Jacko "was never in default of the loan." Off the wall?
Jacko default notice
It appears so, as The Mortgage Lender Implode-o-Meter (yep, that's the full name) has obtained a "Notice of Default and Election to Sell" that makes it clear that the property is in foreclosure, because the loan and interest in the amount of $23,212,963.83 is way, way overdue. The notice specifically states that "a breach of, and default in, the obligations for which the Trust Deed is security -- has occurred" -- because payment hasn't been made.

A silver lining for the King of Pop? The document says that he can still offer the property for sale, as long as the deal gets sealed before the foreclosure is wrapped up. Jackson's rep says that her earlier statement stands.

50. My sister in law told me that she heard that Dog The Bounty Huter was going to buy Neverland and make it into his own theme park. He is going to change its name to Doggywood. He already has his family agreeing to appear in the sideshows. If this is true, it will be a hit! He has to do something since letting his true colors show, thus losing his TV show. U go Dog!

54. I was watching a real estate show on style network and they flew over Neverland and that agent said that land that surrounds it is PRIME real estate worth about 200 million because they wanted to turn it into a golf course and it was perfect for that ... that was about 6 months ago I saw that. If that mortgage company doesn't sell soon they would be crazy there are a bunch of rich companies eager to buy that place. Flatten all that was there and you won't even recognize the place ... just wait and see.

56. Well I am only child and this seems so dumb. MJ has owed this money since 2004 or 2005...The bank should just take...25 mill. is alot of money...Neverland was used to get kids to come their and be with MJ. Why else would he have an amusement park and a zoo? For himself? I think not. I'm a sixth grader and I have been hearing this case since I was in 4th grade. Don't you think this is obsurd??? Just my opinion-----MissyPoo =P

57. Of course Michael Jackson would LIE about it. He always lies. Is it true Brad and Angelina are looking at it?

58. No one is going to buy that freak show's house! Michael Jackson has been in and out of financial difficulty for years. Between bad investments, bad financial advice, non-payment of many, many bills and borrowing against one asset to pay for another, his track record is pretty dodgy.

If Neverland is foreclosed on, it will sit empty and rot. If it is put up for sale prior to foreclosure, none of the freaks or weirdos that would be interested in it have that kind of money.

59. I think that Britney should buy Neverland Ranch. She can afford it and it would be a great place to have parties AND she can keep her boys occupied too! She can just set them on the carousel or something when she's busy partying up. She just needs to make sure Michael doesn't come back to "visit" little Sean P. and Jayden. She can just have the court monitor watch out for that.
