17. Obviously, this is a tragedy, but *IF* she had not gone in for these highly unnecessary, disgustingly vain ((cosmetic)) procedures, she'd more than likely *STILL* be alive today.

18. My beloved dog had a "simple procedure" to remove stones from his bladder. He died the day after surgery, in my arms at home. The procedure went well- no one knows why he died.

21. I don't particularly care for Kanye, and his music isn't my favorite genre. Okay, I hate it, but nevertheless, I think his mom was pretty and it's sad to hear of her death.

25. What is wrong with people??? A son just lost his mother. A mother who loved him, cared for him, only wanted him to better himself and when he did cherished his accomplishments. Regardless of what she procedures she was having done. How would YOU feel if you lost YOUR mother or father or son or daughter??? Talk about insensitive. People should be ashamed of themselves.

28. This is truly a tragedy - but one that certainly could have been avoided. Given the amount of $$$ that her son is making, and the fact that she was an intelligent, well-educated woman - you'd think that the surgery, place, time, surgeons, etc. would have been top-notch. Although, one can never tell how someone will react to anesthetic, that's why they ask so many questions before putting someone under. Knowing that these rich and powerful people have the capabilities to see the best doctors, for whatever they need, full tests of how she might respond to a multiple-procedure surgery should have been checked into ahead of time...and it's possible, I suppose, that they were...I'm a firm believer in WHEN YOUR NUMBER IS UP - YOUR NUMBER IS UP, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it...God obvioulsy didn't want her to have the surgery, and at almost 60 - who cares what you look like, eat healthy and exercise regularly - that's what will keep you going.
