Liz's jewelry line raked in a reported $30 mil last year. In 1997, she had a two-inch tumor removed from her brain, and endured hip and back operations the following year, after which she fell and fractured her spine.

class...........elizabeth taylor always a star!!!
dined next to her at a nyc restaurant, she didn't stand on ceremony, waited for other customers before she entered and exited.....a true star.
she has done so much good for so many charities. she has been through so many painful surgeries/procedures that i believe she is someone who totally appreciates all that she has been given.
a lovely lady.
ELIZABETH TAYLOR IS AN AMERICAN TREASURE, A JEWEL IN AND OF HERSELF. IT IS NO WONDER THAT HER VERY PERSONA KEEPS GENERATING FORTUNES AND I'M SURE WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO LONG AFTER SHE HAS GONE ON TO THAT GREAT JEWELRY STORE IN THE SKY.
'I HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF SHAKING HER HAND IN 1984, HER VERY PRESENCE IS PURE MAGIC AND HER EYES ARE HYPNOTIC. I EVEN HAD A "CHRISTMAS CARD" FROM HER ONE YEAR. SHE IS A SURVIVOR, A HUMANITARIAN, A LOVER OF LIFE AND A LEGEND OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER. THROUGH ALL THE LIFE DRAMA , BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE, SHE ALWAYS PREVAILS. ONE CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT IT'S LIKE TO HAVE ACHIEVED WORLD CLASS ICONIC STATUS, BUT SHE IS ONE OF THE RARE ONES WHO KNOWS FIRST HAND. HAVING MET HER IS A GIFT THAT TAKES A PLACE OF GREAT HONOR IN MY MEMORY BOOK. I ALSO SAT NEXT TO HER DAUGHTER LIZA TODD AT THE THEATRE IN THE 70'S AND IN THE 70'S (I THINK) I STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT NEXT TO RICHARD BURTON AND HIS THEN WIFE. I WAVED AT THEM AND THEY BOTH WAVED BACK. WHEN YOU LIVE IN HOLLYWOOD YOU HAVE MANY OF THESE MEMORABLE ENCOUNTERS THAT MAY BE MEANINGLESS TO MANY PEOPLE BUT ARE ALWAYS COUNTED AMONG LIFE'S LITTLE "TREATS" BY ME.
...TERRIFIC to see her out for dinner!!...she has gone thru so much in her life and she seems as gracious as ever!!!
I love her, she rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a lady. Although, now that I think about it she surely went through her trials and tribulations involving substance abuse. Hmmm... maybe there is hope for those struggling lasses Lindsey, Brit, etc., after all...
I'm so glad to see her still out and about. She's a class act, even though she was a "scandal" in the mid- to late 60s. Our parents were shocked by her love life and of course, we loved it and her! Everyone wore her Cleopatra hair style. None of us looked anything like she did but we though we were IT.
