62. I am white and totally believe that OJ did not kill Nicole and Ron. I am convinced that his son did and OJ knew it and shielded him from being prosecuted.
Regardless of how OJ got off, he did. Whether you think it was a racial thing, a celebrity thing or that the police, investigators, prosecutors and forensics people all fouled it up in a big group collective. Whatever. He got off. Ok. Since we can't try him again for the same crime but yet we can get him for armed robbery, great. Do that and put him in jail. Fine, with that settled, let's go after Jason Simpson for killing Nicole and Ron so we can have the real killer behind bars for the two murders and the guy who everyone thinks killed them in jail too for whatever other reason. Everyone is happy. Well, except for OJ.
Its hard to believe that everyone involved in the OJ case conspired together to plant evidence and fix the trial so he would get off. This is LA, you have a party, invite 50 people and after 48 say that they're coming - 2 show up. Its almost impossible to coordinate that many people to all do the same thing at the same time.
I think people were inept and made mistakes, but I don't believe they all did it on purpose.

63. Well, Chuck, I am white. There goes argument #1.
The police barely questioned Jason after OJ hired a defense attorney for him the day after the murders. I wonder why the attorney was hired that soon after? Ok, we'll skip that point.
When the police questioned Jason, he was very uncooperative and changed his story three times. Once he said he was cooking at his restaurant until 11pm (which was proven wrong by his timecard that said he had clocked out right after 9 something) then he said he was home alone from 10 til 3am watching TV. No witness to prove that either. OK.
Apparently, that was ok with the police, since they let him go after that. End of questioning.
Nevermind the previous convictions for assault with a knife, the restraining order by a female, the psychiatrist who shredded his medical records the day after the murders and his infrequent use of his anti-rage medicine. That's not important. He said he was home alone watching cartoons, so we'll believe him.
Um, dude, you just let the murderer go.

64. That is some theory you have Flavin! Too bad you are the only one who believes it. You may want to put down whatever it is you are smoking. Nobody had to plant any evidence. Oj left the evidence! Detective Furman lied when he said he had never used the word n!gger and he was later caught on tape doing so. The jury heard this and that began the undoing of the case. The evidence was there. The jury chose to aquit OJ much to everyone's surprise. I watched every bit of the trial. The evidence was there including a bloody shoe print (by OJ), a glove(OJs) and much blood(OJs). 66. .........................Hello Thomas @ 2:02 am #59.............You are correct in that it requires 12 jurors for a determination in a Criminal Trial.................In a Civil Lawsuit it requires 10 of the 12 to make a determination.............The Criminal Trial has a standard of proof, "beyond a reasonable doubt".................The Civil Lawsuit has a standard of proof, "A preponderance of evidence".............One advantage of the Civil Lawsuit is the submission of evidence that may not have been presented in the Criminal Trial.......And knowing what did not work in the Criminal Trial...............Therefore, you may loose the Criminal Trial, and win the Civil Lawsuit....................The abilities of the defense team and the inabilities of the DA team, and the inabilities of the jury.............won for OJ...............the additional evidence and less requirements won for Goldman..................And we have to live with both results..................I think OJ will go to trial in the present situation......

67. Ok Beefcake, that's the exact thinking that prevents the case being solved. Completely closed mindedness.
Actually, I'm not the only one who believes it, but that's not the point. What also isn't the point is the Fuhrman said the n word. Not important. I'm not arguing that OJ wasn't at the scene and left footprints - he was and did. OJ took Jason's gloves to get rid of them and lost one behind Kato's place. Since they weren't OJ's gloves, they didn't fit him, they fit Jason.
There was some of OJ's blood around. Some. There was also some of Nicole's blood on the passenger seat of OJ's car. The passenger seat. If OJ was fighting with people and cutting necks and Ron was fighting back (which apparently he did), OJ would be COMPLETELY covered in blood (which he wasn't) and would have bruising and/or cuts, scrapes or fighting wounds somewhere. He had one. A small cut on his finger. There is no way that cut generated all that blood, unless maybe the blood wasn't his, but was similar in DNA matching. Oh yeah, maybe a son or something.

71. Ok, Max I respect that opinion. I think he hides assets also and I believe its because he knows he didn't kill the two of them and OJ says "to hell with Fred Goldman."
I also think he'll do jail time for the robbery thing, but I believe it might be more...partly because I bet the jury will try to make up for the Ron and Nicole thing and give him a bunch. My opinion.
See how civilized this can be?

72. I laughed out loud whenever I read your post about being green Max61. That is hilarious!! I believe he did it as well. OJ was a powerful man(strength wise). Despite Flavin's theory I have no doubt about it. He wanted her dead. I hope the jury in Vegas doesn't decide to aquit if we are fortunate enough for this to go to trial. And I will take 5 years.

73. I'm not offended. It bothers me when people absolutely will not see another possible side to a story - when there are multiple sides to it. Open you mind for a minute and think about it.
I was like you and staunchly on the OJ DID IT train for years....until I thought about this Jason thing and it totally changed my mind. Now I am adamant about Jason. It makes perfect sense to me now.
Look on the net...this is not just me blowing smoke. This theory has been gaining acceptance for a while. Not that you have to believe it too, but just think about it

74. Ok, Beefcake. I agree that OJ was a powerful man. Was. He was almost 50 and arthritic and beat up from playing football when Nicole died. Jason was 24 at the time, not arthritic and equally, if not more, powerful than his Dad. Also, Jason had a severe rage problem that OJ didn't have, was abusive and threatening towards women in general and Nicole in particular and had a problem with Nicole (who was only 10 years older than Jason then) and with Nicole being with OJ.
OJ probably could have killed her alone maybe, but I don't know if he had that sort of a personality (psychiatrists don't seem to think so.) Jason most certainly did and could have thrashed two people after flying into a jealous rage - with one of the knives he carried around for work.

75. ...........Hello Flavin.................I figure OJ to be a person who has, all his life, had it pretty good,..........college ball, hey look at me,................pro ball, hey look at me.......... but I do not regard him as that brilliant................Society has a way of moving you thru life sometimes without any input of your own doing................I think he did kill Nicole and Ron due to a fit of rage for whatever reason.................I think a man can cut two peope in no time at all.............OJ was very lucky if he did do it........................ I don't think the jury will hand out anything unreasonable due to the world watching............I think the firearms will do OJ in...............I am from a small town and usually they hand out very large punishments.............I would think Las Vegas will do a fair job...............Do you think LV will handle it reasonably?
