Isn't he the Docor that plays some TV show on the Discovery or some cable tv channel about Plastic surgery and rich people???....maybe that all he was...a butcher with fake id's ....damn people do investigate do is going to do your Nip and Tuck cause it ain't worth losing your life or the appearance of your natural body over it!!! Sad maybe she rest in peace but does sound like she also had health issues.!

18. Most doctors get sued for malpractice sometime during their careers, it is our culture. That doesn't mean they are all "righteous" claims. And there is something called a "statute of limitations" for all lawsuits. In California, a med mal complaint must be filed within three years of the injury. And there must be an injury! So people are not going to come out of the woodwork to get Dr. Adams. EVERY surgery is dangerous and is accompanied by the risk of death. People clamoring for plastic surgery need to understand this!

19. I read the lawsuit. There's no specific allegation. Looks bogus to me. You're supposed to state more specifically how the physician breached the standard of care, which is not done. Remember, this is America and lawsuits are common. Just because it exists doesn't speak ill of the physician, especially when it's so vague. The other lawsuit mentioned in the other article regards a patient who sustained an infection and needed more surgery. That's probably the number one known complication with any surgery and doesn't mean the physician did anything wrong. Shame on TMZ for insinuating guilt without specifics!

20. I'M SORRY BUT DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! Some people are so eager for liposuction that they run to the closest, cheapest doctor they can find. If you do that, you are asking for trouble. I am sorry to Kanye, nobody deserves to lose their mom in such a way, but is anyone really surprised all this dirty laundry is being aired about this guy? I Mean, come on?! I'm having rhinoplasty in January and I sure as hell have looked at over ten doctors.... I'm not dying over a crooked nose.

Well, if you believe all the stuff that is constantly being uncovered about this guy, yeah he's a complete arsehole and the California Medical Board might have to revisit his right to practice. I'd certainly have a problem with a Surgeon that didn't stay clean and sober. He's not in a profession where you can let your hair down really....got be sharp for that kind of work. But then again , how much of this is back up by evidence placed in context.
I wish 'The Smoking Gun' or some other credible site could take this further and actually show the truth ...get all the court stuff together...lets all have a good look at this guy's behaviour and see for ourselves.

As for other surgeons pushing the knife in, ...so to speak...I wonder how well behaved they are...Tinsel Town is a town of decadence ...I'm sure a lot of them do stuff they aren't proud of.



Finally a news-flash...lots of supposed Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons aren't board certified in their specialty...and the people that don't check that out first are silly. It's your body, you only want the best working on it - a case of Caveat Emptor there. Big balls on his part for hosting a show on Plastic Surgery when he doesn't hold board certification. And isn't it funny no one whined and complained as to his credentials at that time...lots of opportunity then.

Oh well...another person dies after submitting to unnecessary surgery. Pity

22. Sorry to hear about Donda West. However, she was told two weeks ago NOT to get this surgery done because of an exsisting medical condition. She was told this by another plastic surgeon. Now, she disregarded his advise and she went elsewhere (Dr, Adams), did not disclose her medical condition to Dr. Jan Adams; and whos fault is this?? Sorry, I don't blame the Doctor. The risks of plastic surgery are serious. Many people feel that this type of surgery in not "REAL" surgery. Well------Hello, it is. Lorjac

24. She could have gotten the same procedure in Tijuana and most likely would be alive today to talk about it. Nevertheless, I don't understand why folks are so eager to have such procedures done and not do a background check. This is a free service (or nominal fee) on-line. Just one click and Donda would probably be alive today.

26. Dr. Jan Adams, is a murderer. He has no care or concern about a patients overall health. He is all about the money. As a professional, which he is not, he was suppossed to check out his patient medical history and inform his patient of the risk. I truly do not believe that he did this. I feel this way because I personally know a former patient who was severely damaged by him in June of '06. She is still undergoing treatments and trying to recover from the damages. I had the chance to meet Dr. Jan Adams, as I drove my cousin, his former patient, to his clinic for a check up after her surgery, and he came off as being very arrogant, pompous, and unprofessional.
Had I known Kanye and his mother I would have told them both that Dr. Jan Adams is a man who totally lacks character and professionalism. My deepest sympathy goes out to the West family.
Hopefully this will be a lesson to those who feel they just have to have plastic surgery. People should always do their research before undergoing any type of surgery rather it is research on the doctor and/or the procedure.

27. oprah winfrey is to blame!!! her endorsements of late have been dead wrong(remember james frey author of "a million little pieces" she and her people did not do the research and background checks for these frauds. She had Dr. Adams on her show once. If Oprah endorses anybody, the american public seems foolish enough to fall for it!
