31. Anybody that listens to a talk show host about something as delicate and intricate as Surgery MUST BE CRAZY and NOT playing with a full deck! I'm not saying Mrs. West did listen to any of these fat ass talk show hosts, Oprah or Ellen or whoever because she was an educated person and if she did take advice from these fools then it just goes to show you that an educated person such as Mrs. West is also caught up with the talk show hysteria but I really don't think so but why didn't she check out this Quack creditials because of WHY??!!

32. People, people, people, try to remember that a woman died tragically. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, this T.V. Personality/ Doctor perfomed surgery on Donde West. Hours later she died. Let the autopsy tell its story, then if necessary take it to the courts.

If you have issues with Oprah, go to her website and whine about her there. Trust me. She can handle whatever you or anybody else can toss her way; however, I bet if you were ever in her presence, you'd be kissing her ass just like everybody else. It's human nature. I've seen high-ranking white racist Klansman kiss her "fat, black (and I'm proud of her ) ass" and praise her just like her dyed-in-the wool fans of every race. Give the Oprah angle a rest. She's a talk show host with a good reputation. That's all. Just a human. If you have a need for the services of someone who has appeared on television it's up to the consumer to check out the professional. Personally, if I had the money, I would have looked into the doctors who operated on the people on the "Extreme Makeover" show. Now they've got some real skills. And for you racist's they (the Extreme Makeover dotors) come in all races.

Enjoy the day!

34. Well stated #32. Your words are direct, to the point, and very persuasive!

35. I WAS WONDERING I READ ALL THE STORIES FROM TMZ ABOUT DR ADAMS AND DIDN'T THE STAFF OF OPRAH DO THERE FACT CHECKING BEFORE HE WAS ALLOWED TO BE ON THE SHOW. JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

36. Lets not persecute this man, until we know the official cause of her death. There's a risk with any surgery and allegedly, Ms. West had some medical issues. Ultimately, it was her decision to have the surgery.

It's very tragic that she died and my prayers go out to Kanye and his family.

37. This is another reason I quit watching Oprah...I got sick of her condescending attitude and constant interrupting of guests. She acts like she is an expert on everything and shows she is an expert on nothing. Either she or her staff had better do some real checking up on her so called experts she has on. This quack has been sued numerous times and yet she has him on as an expert on plastic surgery...some guy writes a book full of lies and she boosts that....she has an exclusive school for blacks in Africa, and the girls have been abused by a majo staff member. I am not racist but neither am I stupid enough to continue to watch and support her program. My heart goes out to all of those victims of that plastic surgery butcher but if it looks too good to be true, it surely is.

38. I am an anesthetist that works with board certified plastic surgeons and we all agree if the facts presented are true that this death was preventable and at the very least Dr. Adams exercised very poor judgement. By not being board certified Dr Adams has opened the door for massive criticism. Just wonder how an attractive black male Dr. was able to fool all the celebs and gain national status!!! Wake up public, the Discovery Channel and Oprah don't certify doctors and now we know why. Maybe we need to stop advancing people based on color and maybe do it on merit

39. Um hello people how the hell is Oprah in any way shape or form responsible for what happened to Kanyes mom? She has famous people on her show, so what it dosnt mean shes responsible for any of thier actions esp. hello! 4 yrs after the show! Get a life people!

40. Nobody said she was responsible but please admit the fact that millions of unthinking people take her word and those she endorsres as gospel. She has a responsibility to the public to screen the credentials of the people she brings on the show as experts. Promoting anyone soley based on color is wrong...white or black. America is so caught up in celebrity and this is is just tragic proof how wrong it is! If you take nothing else from this tragedy as the consuming public look before you leap. There is a reason other surgeons turned her down........because it was the right thing to do!

41. Oprah's guest selection has been slipping lately. She's been putting on a lot of fake, frauds and thieves....look at Karin Stefan -- she was on Oprah....why! Then Seinfeld's wife stole that book idea from another author. Oprah is losing her credibility.

42. #15 R.--I agree with your comment regarding Oprah and her selection of guests. Since she states that she has such high values and so forth---more effort should be made by her investigative team to see such mishaps. (i.e. lack of board certification, multiple DUI status, malpractice suits).

43. There is no evidence that says he has make a mistake at all in the case of Donda West.
People should quit condemning people until they are PROVEN guilty. This poor woman
could have very easily just had a heart attack, or something completely unrelated to the
surgery she had.

44. Have any of you seen Jan Adams website? The last question he asks his potential new clients is "would you like Dr. Adams to do your surgery or one of his personally "TRAINED ASSOCIATES then adds at a reduced rate"???? I could not believe that he would allow someone he trained in his office to perform plastic surgery procedures on his patients after alluring them with a "reduced rate". He is not board certifed, obviously a drunk driver and has been sued for malpractice twice which he paid out over $500,000.00 to injured patients. He is a quack who killed Donda West....... Plain and simple.....

45. Unfortunately, having that (George Bush doesn't like BLACK PEOPLE attitude) may have had a negative impact on the West family and how they see WHITE people. It's not always a good idea to ONLY deal with BLACK people just because their BLACK. Martin Luther King said it best when it comes to character and not color.
GOD BLESS the West family.
