Inhaler? We Hardly Knew Her! -- Brit's Drug Test

TMZ has learned Britney Spears will now say her false positive drug test may have been caused by her inhaler, which she uses for asthma.

Sources connected with Spears told TMZ yesterday that the drug that may have caused the positive was Provigil, used to treat narcolepsy. But TMZ did some digging and found Provigil would not show up on a court-ordered drug test.

Now the same source says the drug that showed up may have been Albuterol, an asthma drug. But, again, we checked and Albuterol is not an amphetamine, and the class of drug that showed up on the test was an amphetamine.

K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, will press the issue tomorrow in court. Stay tuned.

65. It has been a long time since I took chemistry, but I think albuterol and amphetimine are both sympathomimetic amines, thus one might be confused for the other in a drug screen. Could be wrong. Maybe TMZ should do a little in depth research.

68. If she was on meth she wouldnt be able to eat. It kills your apetite. Some of you struggle with this, but i think its just because you are so desperate to tear down someone you have been jealous of for so long.

Whatever happens to Britney know this, you will still be you. A Nobody who posts tripe on Harvey's website so he can live a life of affluency. Harvey isnt just exploiting celebrities for his fame and fortune, he is also exploiting you. The more hits he gets, the more he can charge advetisers.

You are either a very young child or an imbecile. If you really check this website regularly you would realise (or indeed be honest enough to admit) that TMZ has been floating this particular argument about this drug test for several days and then stating that the sources are false. If you wish to bash Britney Spears go ahead as that is your right, however they are some of us who are neither fans or otherwise but who would love TMZ to report on factual events. These stories have become so biased and obviously false that it is nauseating. However while you wish me to get off this site, why don't you? You obviously hate Britrney Spears but yet you continue to click on stories related to her and post your putrid comments. Its still a free world, no thanks to narrow minded and envious people like you

In all fainess to Twitney I'd like to say that amphetamines are completely different than "Methamphetamine" .In drug tests Methamphetamine is a completely different marker -it cannot be anything but .
So we should all wait and see ,if it was "Meth" they'd know .
