Inhaler? We Hardly Knew Her! -- Brit's Drug Test

Britney spearsTMZ has learned Britney Spears will now say her false positive drug test may have been caused by her inhaler, which she uses for asthma.

Sources connected with Spears told TMZ yesterday that the drug that may have caused the positive was Provigil, used to treat narcolepsy. But TMZ did some digging and found Provigil would not show up on a court-ordered drug test.

Now the same source says the drug that showed up may have been Albuterol, an asthma drug. But, again, we checked and Albuterol is not an amphetamine, and the class of drug that showed up on the test was an amphetamine.

K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, will press the issue tomorrow in court. Stay tuned.

77. In response to post #9. You just don't get it. This court case is not about what's best for Britney. It has to do with two innocent children. People please, use your intelligence and remember that just because someone is a celebrity does not give them the exuse or right to possibly harm innocent children - physically or emotionally. Let the courts decide what's best for these poor children - they are the ones who deal with this type of situation on a daily basis.

I agree that the missed tests should be considered positive, and the Commish will probably see it that way, too. I thought tomorrow’s hearing was about settling the loose ends from Oct. 26th, but I think that happens today. Thanks for the heads up.

86. She can't be using Meth, all she does is eat Taco Bell Y'all. And you don't eat when using Meth. Unless, she pigs out when she is coming down. It would explain the "I'm Scared" Paranoia crap.
